Amanda ~ The Lost Islands
Fitch and I sat outside the tents since the girls didn't really trust him yet and the guys were already fast asleep. He was laying on the ground with his eyes completely open. Either he can sleep with his eyes open or he's just restless with the threats Mable made in the back of his mind. My question was soon answered when Fitch sat up and looked at me. "I- I'm sorry, for trying to kill you guys.." Fitch maybe act cool and wild, but he's really very timid. "It's alright, that's what these trails are for. Besides, I was only going easy on you." I smirked at him and he gave out a little chuckle. "Sure sure.." he looked back down to the ground and stared at it. I was about to say sorry for putting him to sleep but a loud siren played from the distance. Everyone emerged from their tents, somehow already loaded with weapons and suits. I hand Fitch a large dagger which turned into a spear. We all tried talking to each other but the siren was too loud and no one could communicate. So we all stood there till it shut off, then huddled in a circle. "How are we supposed to get all ten points?" "Where should we start" "should we split into teams?" Sparrow and Kaz were both talking over each other with Mable interlining with an occasional question. Jack, Mason, and Fitch were all deciding on weapons and teams. We were all a little too loud, someone could definitely hear us if we did quiet soon. "Shut up everyone!" I whisper yell, and put a finger up to my mouth. Everyone quiets down and draws their attention towards me. "We have several things we need to find out. Firstly, we need ten points, there are only 7 of us. We need 3 more people. Any ideas of who we could team up with?" After I finish my sentence Fitch steps forward with a bright face. "Well, I've got at least one person. He was in the boat on the other side blocking the other exit. If he's still alive I could try to get him to team up with points." I nod and look over at Jack. "Should we go in teams?" I mainly look at Jack because we work best together, but we both know we should pair up with someone else to help keep them safe. Even if they can take care of themselves we still can't be careful enough. "We should do two teams, one of three and one of four. That way we can take both sides of the place and meetup on the opposite area." Everyone agrees with him and we start to form teams. I end up with Fitch, Mable, and Mason with Jack ending up with Kaz and Sparrow. I brought up the idea of teams of two but Kaz mentioned we could all get lost easily without walkie talkies. "Where should we start out?" Mable interludes. "We don't know the layout of the place very well, how are we gonna know where to go?" We all ponder for a few minutes before Masons offers the map he picked up at the front. With a big grin me said, "while you guys were focused on water and sleep I picked up the bad boy at the front." Fitch rolls his eyes and hands the map to Kaz. "Oh thanks Mason, you're the best!" He mockingly says under his breath just in earshot of Fitch. After about another 15 minutes we decide on the starting place and the finishing place. I grab my knives and Jack his pistols. We give our farewells and walk to the starting positions in our split groups. "Do not hesitate to kill, this is real. If you stop for one second you're dead." I look over at the group and they all nod in unison. I take a glance over the horizon and state, "no time better than the present.-" and we start running into the trees.
