We had finally reached port, surrounded by a hustling bustling city. Immediately the boats were swarmed by several squad cars, and all surviving people were escorted out onto deck and washed down, while another set of workers moved into the boat to start taking care of the bodies. As soon as me and Sparrow were both washed down, we hurried over to where Amanda and Mason and another small girl were waiting. The young girl practically lunged at him and Sparrow caught her in a hug before swinging her. While I was appreciative Amanda was alive, I was never once worried for her safety, so there was no need for a celebratory hug (but Mason looked shaken).
"Jack, this is Mable. My younger sister that I told you about last night- er, this morning i guess."
"Oh my gosh Mable, It's so nice to meet you." I held out my hand for a handshake but she just high fived me.
"Mable, have you seen Kaz anywhere?" Sparrow said
Just then Kaz walked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. Mable's face lit up with glee and he pulled her into an embrace that looked a little more than friendly.  A voice boomed out over the loudspeakers, "a congratulations on surviving, all 1,001 of you. this was a lot more than expected to make it out, so we can only hope the future trials thin you out more. Speaking of, your next trial is a simple one, you just have to collect 10 points, and then tomorrow we'll escort you to the third trial. Of course, there are some catches. The only time the points will show up is at night time, which is heavily monitored and enforced here in the Midnight District, as the drones are authorized to shoot on sight. Enjoy your day competitors, and then get to work at night. Speaking of, only one person can hold a point, so form your teams soon..."
