After telling Shannon my plan and my secret I headed towards my quarters to pack and get ready. My head felt like it was going to explode with everything going on. I was still baffled at how I became pregnant, and wondered if it was even true, but I couldn't focus on the being growing inside me. I had a war to win. My plan was to stroll through the Underground with my head held high. If I snuck around it would have been suspicious. I wanted my father to believe that I was coming back to him, and when he let his guard down I was going to tear him down. I was setting out my ODM gear when I heard a sequence of knocks at my door. Probably Shannon, I thought to myself as I sighed and opened the door. I was surprised to see a light blue sky staring back at me. "What're you doing h-"

"You can't go to the Underground tonight," Levi said quickly as he made my way into my room, pushing past me. "You were eavesdropping?" I huffed through a bitter chuckle as he took a step toward me. "I know you think the mission isn't moving fast enough, but you can't go alone," he said quickly, his eyes boring holes into mine. I took a step forward until we were nose to nose. "Watch. Me," I said through gritted teeth before pushing past him, my shoulder hitting his slightly as I made my way toward my wardrobe. "Mercy, what is going on?" he asked through a groan as he followed me around the room like a lost puppy. "I'm storming the Underground," I chuckled, "but you already knew that, right?" "I don't need your smart ass remarks right now," he said sharply.

"And I don't need you telling me what not to do." I moved past him again and headed toward my desk where my ODM gear was. I needed to check and make sure everything was in working order before strolling into the Underground. I was about to pick my gear up when Levi grabbed my wrist and whirled me around, his body incredibly close to mine. I could feel his body heat, the tension of the moment. I ripped my hand away from his grasp and took a step back until my lower half pressed against the desk. "Don't ever put your fucking hands on me again," I growled and he held his palms out as if to tell me to "calm down." "Then tell me why you're so adamant on storming the Underground all by yourself," he bargained. "I have my reasons," I said, "and they're not of any concern to you." Levi closed his eyes and sighed before taking a deep breath. "You're not going alone," he said as he let out a breath and opened his eyes. I shook my head and smiled angrily. "You don't get to-" "I'm going with you," he said quickly before turning to walk away. I quickly walked in front of him before he could make it to the door and halted him in his tracks. "You don't get to decide that," I said harshly as I blocked him from exiting. "It's my life, so, yeah, I do." I stared at him for a long moment. Why did he care so much about me going to the Underground? Why did he seek me out and try to stop me? Why did he give a shit? I stared into his sky-like eyes and shook my head. "You're not coming with me," I said slowly leaving no room for argument.
