I rode into the Inner City, and the moment I laid my eyes upon the carnage my heart stopped. I watched as Pawns ripped Garrison Regiment and Military Police troops alike off their horses, tearing them apart. I watched as blood fell from the sky from the massacre. I hopped down from my horse and made my way through the crowd of soldiers trying to escape. I could feel my the rage of my ancestors creeping to the surface, my breathing heavy and my heart beating out of my chest.

I continued to weave my way through, trying to get to the frontlines of the attack. It was horrifying. The blood that spattered my face and clothes was warm, the chilly breeze quickly cooling the liquid down. I could feel it caking my skin, my body, my heart. I made my way toward the front of the slaughter and came several meters from a Pawn that had ripped a woman off her horse and was holding her up by the neck, seconds from slamming her to the ground to her death. I was about to pull out my swords when I heard Jean scream from overhead. He was running toward Mikasa who was being held against the wall of a building by her neck. It was a Bishop, one of the strongest men my father had created. She clawed and tore at his wrists and his arms but to no avail. "No!" Jean screamed as he ran full force toward them. Armin and Eren were being held hostage by a Rook, their efforts useless.

That's when my attention was brought down to Levi Ackerman on his knees, a Bishop barreling toward him at incredible speed. I was about to watch my friends die in front of me. I quickly grabbed the Pawn in front of me without hesitation, lifting him up over my head, my body radiating with pure energy and rage. I threw his body with all of my might at the Bishop coming toward Levi. They crashed together into the wall behind them, their bodies crackling the cement. I could feel my power surging through me as my device dispersed it, and felt myself completely snap. I'd had enough of the carnage. I'd had enough of my father's wrath. I was going to put an end to it, there and now. "Ahhhhhh!" I let out a shriek of pure lividity, my voice sounding damn near demonic as it bellowed from my throat. Every super soldier turned their heads to me, their blue eyes radiating with their own energy. The Rook let go of Armin and Eren while the Bishop freed Mikasa, and they all ran toward me. I sheathed my swords. I didn't need them. The Bishop and the Pawn were back up on their feet, shaking the rubble and debris from their shoulder before barreling toward me. By this time the MP's and Garrison troops were either dead or had escaped, leaving two Pawns standing among the bloodshed. They stared at me, their masks making mechanical sounds as they breathed, and sped toward me at incredible speeds. I was surrounded, one coming from every direction, but at least my friends were freed. "Run!" I shouted to them as I began spinning down to the ground, my leg outstretched to sweep them off their feet. My foot made contact with one of the Pawn's legs and he fell to the ground while the other two Pawns tripped over him. One was falling straight toward me, and I rolled toward the Rook, the strongest of them all. I pushed off the ground, my sheer strength sending me upward at incredible speed as I landed an uppercut straight to his chin. His body went flying meters away, the Bishops already on me. One grabbed my arms while the other punched my face. I felt the blood squirt from my cheekbone as I took his blow, and I quickly ripped my arms away from the Bishop behind me and sent a kick straight to the chest of the one in front of me. He fell to the ground and skidded to the wall of one of the shops, his head crashing into the wood.
