When Jimin returned to the room, carrying the warm lemon honey water along with mint and ginger in it, he was met with the sight of Jungkook comfortably lying on his bed, looking as if he had already made himself at home.

"What are you doing?" Jimin asked, raising an eyebrow as he placed the glass on the bedside table.

"Nothing, just preparing to sleep," Jungkook replied casually, as this was the most natural thing in the world.

Jimin sighed, shaking his head. "I've already changed the sheets in Appa's room. You can sleep there tonight. Tomorrow, I'll clean the guest room so you can stay there until we head back."

Jungkook, looking thoroughly unimpressed by this suggestion, sat up and gave Jimin a pointed look. "Jimin-ah, do you really think I'm going to let this chance slip by? No way. I'm sleeping with you tonight. I've waited too long for this."

Jimin opened his mouth to protest but was quickly silenced by Jungkook's wide doe eyes, pleading and full of innocence. His resolve melted in an instant. "No, don't give me those eyes—" But it was too late; Jimin was already convinced.

"Fine," Jimin muttered, feeling defeated, but a small smile played on his lips as he handed the glass to Jungkook. After drinking the warm mixture, they climbed into bed together, the familiarity of their scents—Jimin's soft jasmine and Jungkook's comforting wet forest—bringing them both a sense of calm.

They cuddled, Jimin's head resting against Jungkook's chest as they fell asleep.

The next morning, Jungkook woke up first, blinking his eyes open to the sight of Jimin's soft, peaceful face. His cheeks were adorably puffy from sleep, his plump lips slightly parted.

Jungkook couldn't resist; he leaned in and began peppering Jimin's face with light kisses—his forehead, his nose, his cheeks, even the corners of his lips.

Jimin groaned in his sleep, half-conscious, giggling softly at the tickling sensation. "Kook, what are you doing?" he mumbled, his eyes still closed, but his lips curled up into a smile.

Jungkook laughed, continuing his playful attack of kisses. "You're too cute. I couldn't help it."

They started playfully wrestling and giggling, completely lost in their own little world. The laughter was warm and intimate, filling the room as they tickled and teased each other under the covers.

But suddenly, a voice cut through the moment, freezing them both.

"Minnie"It was Jimin's Appa. outside the room

Jimin's eyes shot open, and Jungkook's smile faltered. Both of them stared at each other, wide-eyed, realizing the compromising position they were in—tangled up in each other's arms, with Jimin half on top of Jungkook.

Jimin shouted, "Two minutes, Appa!" and hurriedly shoved Jungkook into the bathroom. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart before making himself look presentable. When he finally opened the door, he found his father, Eun, standing there, still in yesterday's clothes, looking tired but smiling warmly at him.

"Good morning, Appa," Jimin greeted, trying to hide his nerves.

Eun smiled, stepping inside. "You said you'd return tonight."

"Yes, but how could I leave you alone when you came all the way here to spend the holidays with me? So, I finished my work early to come back sooner," Eun replied, his voice soft but filled with affection.

Jimin felt a wave of gratitude wash over him. He was beyond lucky to have Eun as his father—someone who always put him first, making sure Jimin had everything he needed. Jimin had once told his Appa that he could remarry if he  ever wanted to, assuring him that he would accept it. But Eun had declined, saying that the memories of Jimin's mother and Jimin himself were enough for him. He often joked that in the future, Jimin's pups would be the ones to spoil.

Jimin hugged Eun tightly. "Thank you, Appa."

Eun chuckled softly, cooing at his son as he patted Jimin's back. "Did my sweet pup miss his Appa?"

Jimin nodded against his father's shoulder before pulling away, his heart full. But then Eun sniffed the air, his expression turning puzzled as he caught the scent of Jungkook. Jimin's eyes widened—he knew his father would start asking questions.

Before Eun could speak, Jimin quickly said, "Oh, right! Appa, Jungkook came by yesterday. His clothes were wet, so I offered him my room to change in since he felt uncomfortable using yours in your absence. And the other shower wasn't working." It was partly true, but still a lie, and Jimin felt guilty for keeping the truth from his father. He silently prayed that Eun wouldn't go check on Jungkook.

Eun raised an eyebrow and lightly smacked Jimin on the head. "Why are you telling me this now, you brat? Jungkook hasn't been here in years, I should have made some arrangements."

Jimin rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, relieved his father hadn't caught on. "Sorry, Appa."

Eun sighed but smiled. "I'll go get freshened up and make breakfast. You go wake up Jungkook and get ready too."

"Okay, Appa," Jimin replied, closing the door as his father left. The moment the door clicked shut, he collapsed onto the bed, exhausted from the close call. A second later, Jungkook emerged from the bathroom and flopped down beside him, muttering, "That was close."

Jimin glared at him and smacked him with a pillow. "This is your fault!" . Jungkook  hissed playfully and  just laughed, dodging another pillow aimed at him. "If my Appa finds out, we're doomed."

"I know, I know," Jungkook grinned, but the amusement in his eyes didn't fade. Jimin huffed and kicked him out of the room before his father finished his shower.

"Go get ready, and don't get us caught!" Jimin ordered, half-joking, as Jungkook obediently left the room with a wink.
