Jimin and Jungkook made their way to the dining table where Eun was already setting the dishes, humming softly to himself. The smell of freshly cooked food filled the room, and the warm, homely atmosphere made the morning feel even more special.
"Good morning, Uncle," Jungkook greeted, smiling warmly as he approached Eun.
Eun looked up, his face lighting up with a big smile when he saw Jungkook. "Ah, Jungkook! Good morning!" He pulled Jungkook into a hug, patting his back warmly. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming beforehand? I would've made better arrangements for you, especially after all these years!"
Jungkook grinned sheepishly, glancing briefly at Jimin. "Actually, Uncle, I did tell Jimin... but I think he forgot to mention it." His eyes twinkled with mischief as he spoke.
Jimin's eyes widened in shock. "Yah! Jungkook!" He knew what was coming.
Eun turned to Jimin, shaking his head with a playful exasperation. "This brat! Always forgetting the important things," Eun said, though there was no real annoyance in his voice, just fondness.
Jimin could only mumble, "Sorry, Appa..." trying to avoid both their gazes. Jungkook, on the other hand, was clearly enjoying every second of this, smiling smugly to himself. It was a little bit of payback for Jimin ignoring him for days and for sneaking away to Busan without him.
As they sat down at the table, the chatter between them was light and easy. They talked about Jungkook's visit, Jimin's university life, and even Eun's work. The sound of chopsticks clicking and soft laughter filled the room. The morning sun streamed in through the window, casting a golden hue over everything.
After they finished eating, Eun got up, stretching a little. "I'll leave you two alone for now. I have a few things to take care of. Jimin, make sure Jungkook is comfortable, alright?"
"Yes, Appa," Jimin replied, watching as Eun left the room. The moment Eun was out of sight, Jimin turned to Jungkook, punching him lightly on the arm. "Yah, why did you lie like that?"
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, clearly unaffected by the light punch. "Who told you to ignore me for three days and leave without telling me? You said you'd show me all your favorite places in Busan, remember?"
Jimin blinked, momentarily thrown off. "Oh yeah! I've planned a lot!" he said excitedly, forgetting the previous conversation. He began rattling off a list of places he wanted to take Jungkook to.
Jungkook just chuckled, shaking his head as Jimin got lost in his excitement. Over the next two days, Jimin kept his promise and took Jungkook to all the special places he had in mind—favorite cafes, hidden spots by the beach, and places filled with memories from his childhood.
They laughed, talked, and enjoyed each other's company, making new memories along the way.
During their time in Busan, Jungkook even met Jimin's Hobi hyung and Yoongi hyung. Hobi, being the energetic and protective older brother figure, wasn't exactly friendly at first, especially because Jimin had told him how cold Jungkook had been in the past. But once the initial awkwardness faded, Hobi lightened up, joking around with them. Yoongi, on the other hand, remained his usual calm, reserved self, quietly observing but offering occasional dry humor that made everyone laugh.
Now, it was their last day in Busan. Tomorrow morning, they'd be heading back to Seoul, but before that, they were attending a special wedding—Hobi's cousin, Kim Namjoon, who was close to Jimin as well. It was an event Jimin had been looking forward to for a while.
Jungkook was already dressed and ready for the wedding, wearing a suit. He made his way to Jimin's room and knocked on the door. After a few seconds, the door opened, and Jungkook's breath hitched.
Jimin stood before him, dressed in a stunning traditional hanbok for the wedding, the colors soft yet elegant, his hair styled perfectly. His radiant smile made Jungkook's heart skip a beat. For a moment, Jungkook forgot how to breathe, completely mesmerized by how beautiful Jimin looked.
Jimin raised an eyebrow, noticing Jungkook's stunned expression. "What? Do I look bad?"
Jungkook blinked, finally snapping out of it. "No, it's just... wow. You look... perfect." His voice was softer than usual, filled with sincerity.
Jimin blushed slightly, laughing it off as he closed the door behind him. "Come on, let's go before we're late!"
(Jimin was wearing hanbok because he is close to them )
