Two halves as a whole (Jikook)

Chapter - 15

As they stood there wrapped in each other's embrace, Jungkook suddenly remembered something and gently broke the hug, looking around with a slight frown. "Wait... where's your appa?" he asked.

Jimin blinked, a bit surprised by the sudden question but replied casually, "Appa went out for work and won't be back until tomorrow."

Jungkook let out a small sigh of relief and pulled Jimin back into his arms. Jimin couldn't help but chuckle as he teased, "Oh, are you scared of my appa? What, are you worried about what he'd do if he saw us earlier?"

Jungkook shook his head, laughing softly. "Nah, it's not that. I'm more afraid he'd call my mom and grandma, and next thing you know, they'd would  marry us before our vacation even ends."

Jimin burst into laughter at that, knowing it was probably true. Their families had been wanting this for years. "Why? Don't you want that?" Jimin teased back, tilting his head playfully.

Jungkook smiled warmly, his hands brushing through Jimin's hair. "Definitely. I want that more than anything. But not right now," he said softly, his tone serious but full of affection. "I want to be independent first, Jimin. I want to be able to afford everything for us—your needs, our wedding, everything. I can't do that yet... but I will."

Jimin's heart swelled with love, butterflies erupting in his stomach at Jungkook's words. Without thinking, he leaned in and gave Jungkook a sweet, soft peck on the lips. But before he could pull away, Jungkook deepened the kiss, pulling Jimin closer, both of them melting into the moment.

When they finally broke apart, Jimin's cheeks were flushed, and his eyes sparkled with happiness. "You're  the best , Jungkook. even in the Past, present, and future," Jimin said softly, his voice filled with sincerity and love.

Jungkook smiled at that, his heart warm and full. "And you're everything I've ever wanted, Jimin," he whispered back.

But then Jimin noticed Jungkook's clothes, still damp from the rain outside. "Now, go change. Your clothes are wet," Jimin said, giving him a playful push toward the bathroom.

Jungkook chuckled as he headed off to get changed, turning back one last time to give Jimin a playful wink. As Jimin watched him go, he couldn't help but smile to himself, his heart full of warmth and excitement for the future they would build together.
