"hahaha!" Venom laughs while munching on Pizza,"whats better than an after-meal snack?"
"This might be a snack for you,but this is the only thing I ate all day...aside from some soggy instant Ramen!" Ren mutters,this Pizza was the first meal of his day technically.
"Hehe...must have been in a hurry,huh?" Reze chuckles as she watches the two eat their pizzas,"yeah..." Ren nods,his cheeks stuffed with Pizza,"but it happened fast,there wasn't a whole lot to do on our end"
"Really? That's good to know,they won't be putting you down then!" Reze smiles,actually glad that Ren wasn't going to die,"you're way too young for that!"
"Yeah,Tell that to public saftey" Ren scoffs,"these guys barely value human life!"
"Really? Aren't they supposed to protect it?"
"I...I really don't know what they're supposed to be doing at this point" Ren shakes his head,"but oh well"
"What about you,Ren? What's your priority?"
"Hmm...well..." he pauses,rubbing his neck,"I believe devil hunters should not only just fight devils,they're also supposed to protect those who can't protect themselves,I mean...who'd you have to protect if all humans are dead?"
"Hehe...that is a good point,I like your way of thinking!" Reze chuckles,ruffling his hair,"acting all smart and mature,you little grown up!" She pokes his cheek while saying that,making him pout a little,"I don't know about that,I'm just a kid who read too many comic books"
"Dont be like that,not many people are like you these days,it's easy to just...fall into the um...darkness or whatever,you know,to just...not care and do what you need to do,but you're different!" Reze smiles,putting her arm on his shoulders,"you still hold onto your morals,just because the world is full of devils and bad people,doesn't mean you're gonna allow yourself to let go of who you are,I like that about you!"
"Really? I...never thought  about it like that"
"Of course you didn't!" Reze Giggles before pinching Ren's cheek,"you're just a widdle baby,take it from the grown ups...but seriously,the world needs more people like you,Ren"
"Uhh...well,I'm glad you think so,at least...I thought I never had many friends because people didn't like me,but now? I think I just...need to find the right people!" Ren says to Reze with a smile
"Thats the spirit,kiddo!" Reze chuckles and pats his head,"see? You're learning,soon enough,you're gonna have lots of friends,and umm...maybe some fangirls,let's just hope they don't tear you apart once you're all grown up!" Reze Giggles mischievously before flicking his nose,"ow..." Ren rubs his nose after she flicked it,"why would I have fan girls? I'm not a celebrity!"
"Oh,you'll learn soon enough,kid,believe me"

Kishibe was leaning against the window while smoking his cigarette,huffing out the the smoke outside the apartment,because now some stupid kid is sharing the place and he can't have it smell like cigarettes,kids are so sensitive and frail,he glanced behind him,watching Ren hang upside down while holding onto a web,he's been doing that for a while now,"are you gonna do that all day,kid?"
"I don't know what to do while I wait for Makima-San to arrive" Ren sighs,bored out of his mind,suddenly,the doorbell rang,making him let go of the web and run towards the door,opening it
"Hello Ren,its been a while!" It was Makima,smiling at him,noticing that he wasn't as short as she last saw him,"oh...and I see you've grown a little too!"
"Oh,hi Makima-San!" Ren smiles at her,noticing that she dressed up in something alot more casual,a white blouse over a purple dress,her hair was loose,not in her usual braided style,"are you ready to go and buy some new clothes?" She asks him while titling her head to the side,smiling gently at him
"Sure,I can't wait!" Ren nods,excitement In his eyes
"Very well,our first stop is the mall!" Makima leads Ren out of Kishibe's apartment and into the nearest shopping mall ,where she took a shopping cart and walked with Ren around the mall's supermarket,"Hmm...you could use some shampoo,we have to make sure you smell nice and clean in your new clothes,after all" Makima nods to herself,before walking to the shampoo isle,smelling each bottle and putting the one she liked in the cart,"ummm...Makima-San,I think one is enough" Ren was a bit overwhelmed,watching her put more than one shampoo bottle in the cart,"Hmm...i dont think so,you also need a body wash,and a hair conditioner" Makima nods,looking over at the body wash bottles,"I'll get you this one,and this one....hmm...oh,and this hair conditioner too,I use it alot myself"
"Uhhh...right..." Ren rubs his neck,unsure why she's buying so much,"oh,we can't forget a washcloth,along with toothpaste,a toothbrush,dental floss,a hair brush...and what else?" Makima asks Ren while rubbing her chin,"oh...of course,some perfume and deodorant...or should you get antiperspirants? We'll just get both" Makima shrugs,dragging Ren around the supermarket,once they were done,she took him to a clothing store inside the mall,where she was going to buy him new clothes,"are these too big for you,dear?" She asks while putting some clothes in front of Ren,trying to see if they fit him,she called him "dear" out loud,almost as if she's enjoying the role of the doting mother far too much,"umm...Makima-San? We can always go shopping again,you know...I think we bought enough!" Ren was getting sick of having to change constantly,it gets annoying over time
"That may be true,but I think this would really suit you" Makima says with a smile,"I promise...this is the last one!"
"Oh...okay..." Ren sighs before taking the outfit,and heading to the changing room,where he could try it on,he eventually settled into it,a yellow shirt over a long sleeve black shirt,black jeans,and a pair of sneakers,once he stepped out,she smiled at him,patting his head,"you look great,Ren...see? I told you it would suit you"
"Uh...yeah,it sure did,thanks,Makima-San!"
"Don't mention it...oh,I almost forgot,I have to go see,Denji,you should come along,there'll be plenty of food for you and Venom"
"Oh...Denji?" Ren raises an eyebrow,he remembered when Denji talked about how he wanted to go out on a date with Makima,maybe this is it? Well,he's  definitely curious now,"sure,why not?"
