"Rah! Feel the strength of the mighty Power!" Power presses Ren over her head,"hahaha! Put me down!" Ren laughed as he was being lifted up by Power,"as you wish!" Power grins,dropping him onto a pile of pillows with a body slam,she then pinned him,lifting one of his legs up to secure a pin,"1...2...3! Haha,I win!" Power stands up,putting her hands up in victory,"I'm the new champion of the world!"
"Power...if you want to be the champ,you have to beat the champ,silly!" Ren giggles as he sits up,"huh? And who's the champion? I will beat them!"
"Uhh...we didn't really agree on that" Ren rubs his neck,"Hmm...when will those wrestlers come on TV again? I must watch those spectacles!" Power grits her teeth in frustration,"Are you two done?" Denji rolls his eyes as he sips on some coffee,he doesn't really like coffee,it just reminds him of Reze,"I kinda wanna sit on the couch now"
"No,we didn't have our trilogy match yet!" Power protests,"get up,tiny human,we still have one more match!"
"Trilogy match? They've been at it 6 times already!" Denji groans,"can't believe this kid gets all handsy with Power and gets away with it" he mutters to himself,walking over to Aki who was doing the dishes,"why do you keep letting Ren in?"
"It helps him cheer up,he's been pretty down lately" Aki doesn't look at Denji while he washes the dishes,Ren has been coming over to play wrestling with Power,both trying to replicate what they see on television,"huh? I've been pretty down too,nobody seems to care though!" Denji huffs,putting his half empty cup of coffee on the kitchen sink,"but Ren? Ohhhh,he needs babysitting 24/7,we can't have little Ren be upset now,can we? Boohoo!"
"Unlike you,Ren still has his human heart,he actually has feelings,and if my memory serves me right,both him and Venom did all the work against the Bomb Devil,remember?"
Denji felt his chest getting heavy,almost forgetting how to breathe,remembering what Reze said to him,"thats...not true!" Denji sticks his tongue out and walks away,"i better thank him? Pfft...she let me go cus she's actually in love with me,no way that dumb kid had anything to do with me being alive to this day...as if I'd owe anything to him" he says to himself,but the things Aki said to him made him feel uncertainty and doubt,"I totally have feelings,I feel happy when I eat good food,I also feel all warm and fuzzy around Makima,and I got a hard-on when I saw Reze In the nude,and I felt kinda sad when she left!" He continues to ponder as he watches Ren and Power wrestle,having fun and everything,"what does he have that I don't? It is because he's "cute" or whatever? Girls don't like small guys,they want someone who's big enough and strong enough to show 'em a good time!" He huffs,starting to become frustrated a little,not understanding what makes Ren any different than him,"I just don't get it,or...maybe its because I don't have a heart that I can't understand,huh,Pochita?" Denji rubs his chin,"whatever...thinking about it hurts my brain,i don't care as long as there's food on the table,I'm gonna go beat off or something"

"Chainsaw...man...friend...or foe?" Ren narrowed his eyes at the TV screen In Kishibe's apartment,"how'd word spread out about him?"
"His fight with that little crush of yours was quite...bombastic,no pun intended,word about a chainsaw man spread out like wildfire,now everybody knows about him"
"And...I'm guessing that's not good"
"Its not,now all the big nations are gonna want a piece of him,everybody's after his heart"
"Why do they want it so bad,anyway? Reze didn't know either"
"We don't know...but all I know is,they don't want Makima to have her hands on it"
"They don't want Makima-San to have it? That's...odd...but I thought everyone wanted to protect humanity against devils"
"That might be the case...for the most part,but nations like the soviet union or America don't hesitate to use devils as weapons of war,Japan ain't so different either,Kiddo...we might use devils to fight other devils,but devils are especially effective against humans too,sometimes supressing a devil isn't enough,some want to keep it to themselves"
"Yeah...I guess it makes sense" Ren sighs,lying down on the couch,"this is exactly what happened to Reze,they used her as a weapon to get what they want"
"The world's superpowers will do whatever it takes to stay on top of the food chain,nothing is off limits when it comes to gaining power"
"Hm...I can kind of see that now..." Ren rubs his chin,"if I just forget it all and let Venom eat any devil he sees,we'd get alot stronger,as much I'm still not over Venom eating that Lightning guy,his powers have been very useful lately,and it doesn't like we'll stop using them anytime soon,but letting go would mean we're no better than the devils themselves"
"Really? Devils only live to kill humans,you know...there's no saving them"
"I get that part...but you're telling me someone like Reze is a lost cause?" Ren pauses for a second after asking that question,"before I knew...I found out that she was working with the typhoon devil,I thought that she was no good and deserved to die,because the typhoon killed My friend's mom,I felt angry,I....wanted her dead,but then I learned the truth,she's not a devil...she was a human,just like you and me,but...they forced her into this,and I don't believe she deserves to die anymore"
"Hmm..." Kishibe hums,sipping on his whiskey as he processes what Ren had just said that,"yeah...well,I'd feel reluctant to kill a girl with a pretty face too,you know"
"Is that ALL you think about?" Ren scoffs,rolling his eyes with a pout,"don't give me that,half-pint,you got yourself a faceful that one time,you won't think much about it now,but I give you 2 years tops before you start chatting it up with the first pretty girl you see"
"Yeah,whatever you say,old man...faceful of what,anyway?" Ren asks with squinted eyes
"Oh,you'll know soon enough,kiddo,I know exactly what you'll end up like" Kishibe grumbled,sipping his whiskey,"you best be prepared for the next few days,we might be needed"
"Needed? For what?"
"It's only a matter of time before we get visited by a bunch of assassins,you know"
"Sheesh...that's not exactly the thing I wanted to go up against"
