"Who's a cute kitty? Who's a silly kitty? It's you!" Ren giggles,patting the side of Nyako's stomach,"you're so dumb and silly!" He giggles again,pressing his nose against the top of the cat's head.
"You're just a fat loaf,aren't you? You're just a silly cute loaf!" Ren rests his head gently onto Nyako's belly,"and you make a good pillow too!" He pats the cat's head,almost too fast,"hehe...your head is thiiiissss small...but your tummy is thiiiissss big!"
"Playtime's over,kid...let's pack her up" Kishibe walks in with the cat box Nyako came with,"awww man...already?" Ren frowns,"couldn't they have taken an extra day or two?"
"Power wants her pussy cat back,we don't want her throwing a tantrum on us"
"Fine...sorry,Kitty,but you have to get up" Ren reluctantly picks up Nyako from her loafed up position,eliciting a long drawn out meow from the feline,"Alright...in you go" he pats Nyako's backside as she gets inside the box,"yeahhh...that's it,good kitty!" He smiles as he watches the cat get inside without any resistance,closing the box and letting Kishibe pick it up,"I'll be going now,you two better not mess up the house while I'm gone" Kishibe walks out the door,closing the door behind him,Ren smirked and immediately ran towards the telephone,dialing up a number,it rang for a while before the person on the other line picked up,"Hello?"
"Oh,hey,Himeno-San,it's me,Ren!"
"Ah,just in time,I got something for you,kid"

"You really are a life saver,kid" Himeno sighs,sitting in a park with Ren,eating ice cream from a truck,"you can put up alot of work volume in such a short time,I'm impressed"
"Eh,I wouldn't have gotten it over with had it not been for you telling me where to go"
"Guess so,gotta say,this is the easiest money I ever made" Himeno chuckles,"you sure don't want your share,kid?"
"Nah,you can keep it,you need it way more than i do,uncle and I are doing just fine,besides,you've been treating me out to something everyday!"
"Pfft...it's just lunch at best,you know,but hey,if you do need anything,just ask!" Himeno smiles,ruffling Ren's hair,"so,um...Aki is back in Tokyo,how is he?"
"Oh,Aki?" Himeno sighs,feeling a little sad and worried about Aki,"his devil hunting days are probably over,can't do a whole lot figthing with one arm,you know"
"Oh...I see..." Ren frowns a little,"you think he'll be okay?"
"If he decides to leave this job,then yeah,but he's a stubborn guy,I doubt he'll quit"
"Oh man...I do hope he'll be okay"
"I hope so too,kiddo..." Himeno nods,leaning back against the park bench,"wanna know something,Ren? Everytime Aki had a partner that died on him,he'd cry,doesn't matter how long he's known them for,could be newbies he's babysitting that died on their first day,he'd still cry over them"
"I...I imagine he went through that alot"
"Sure did,you know this by now,Devil hunting is not for everyone,to tell you the truth? Aki told me that he was worried about you once,he thought a kid your age didn't deserve to be where he is,to be out there figthing devils,and I agree,but after seeing what you're capable of,I have no doubt about what you can do anymore" Himeno smiles again,pinching his cheek,"now look at you,acting like a superhero,saving the day"
"Hey...its not that serious,you know!" Ren pouts as she pinches and tugs at his cheek,"sure thing,little guy,I'll let you keep up the humble act,but seriously,I'm proud of you,not everyone is brave enough to pull this stuff off"
"Uh...right,thanks,Himeno-San,I won't let you down!" Ren nods with a smile,he felt like his heart was going to burst from his chest after he said that,he's just happy that he can make a difference for once,"I...I want to make sure Aki is okay,you know,make sure he doesn't have to be a devil hunter anymore,not when Spider-man is here!"

"Today's been quiet,too quiet" Ren was on top of a rooftop,with his mask and hoodie on,as he watched over the city,"maybe no one is ever dumb enough to do anything now that we're around,huh,Venom?"
Before Venom could answer,Ren spotted a few buildings being completely destroyed in a matter of seconds,it was out of nowhere,"oh no...this is near Aki's house,we have to go check it out!" Ren begins web swinging towards the location,it kept getting more chaotic the closer he got,he landed on top of a building,he saw a big crater,two people were in the middle of it,one of them was Denji,he stabbed his chainsaw arm into the second person,who was wearing a suit and had a gun for a head,"what the...who's that?"
"Oh,you didn't know?" A floating devil approaches Ren,"hmmm...you have an alright future,boy...not bad"
"Huh? Who are you?"
"I'm the Future Devil,and I came to see Hayakawa's horrible death!"
"H-Hayakawa?" Ren's mask is gone now,his eyes wide with shock and horror,"yes,he made a contract with me,I gave him a fraction of my power,and in return,I wanted to enter his eye,that way I can watch his beautiful death"
"Wait...you...knew this would happen?"
"Of course,I'm the Future Devil!"
"And...you couldn't stop it?"
"Who am I to change the wheel of fate,boy? I can only witness it"
"No...this can't be it..." Ren starts shaking like crazy,sitting on the roof while he looked at Aki's corpse from a distance,tears welling up In his eyes,"why would Denji do that? I don't get it..." Ren wiped his tears,trying to wrap his head around what's going on,"it doesn't make sense..." he sniffles,Denji turned around,wanting to walk away,but Ren didn't want Denji to see him,so he got up and started running away as fast as he can,web swinging as far away from the scene as possible,"I...I have to tell uncle about this"
