(Linked universe)

(Wild's POV)

Link- or Wild which had apparently been chosen as his new name, had been with the "chain" for almost a week now. And he had to admit that it had been the weirdest week (that he remembered) he had ever lived through.

He had been quickly appointed as their resident cook when the others had realized that he can cook. Because apparently no-one else in their whole group could cook. And not like 'can't cook because it doesn't taste good' kind of way but more like 'can't cook because you'll wanna throw up after tasting it' kind of way. Literally. Wild had heard horror stories of that one time when Hyrule made a soup that had caused half of the chain to be sick for days because of food poisoning. After that Hyrule never made food again.

Overall Wild had had a great week with the chain. The only problem was that he didn't really feel like he was a part of the group yet. That was understandable since he had been with them for such a little amount of time but he couldn't help but to feel a bit like an outsider.

Wild had never been good in situations that involved getting to know people. He had a feeling he hadn't been very social person before his death either. That just wasn't who he was. So it hadn't came really as a surprise at all when he found himself a bit withdrawn with the chain.

And it wasn't only the talking and being social that he found hard but other things too. Such as fighting. He is pretty sure that pre-death-Link had been well trained in combat alongside other people, but after-death-Link had only ever known fighting alone. He had woken up alone and since then he had been in combat alone. Many things were different when you had to fight with others. You had to make sure not to hit your allies and pay attention to them. Help your friends if they needed it. And even though Wild had been getting better at it by fighting with the champions since they came back, he couldn't really say he was good at it.

Also the fact that the rest of the chain had been together for a couple of months already didn't help at all. The others just seemed to be so relaxed and natural aroud the chain and Wild just couldn't do it. They would hug eachother and fight like brothers and Wild flinched nearly every time someone even slightly touched him.

Little did Wild know that the rest of the chain had actually noticed his behaviour and decided to do something about it. So when the evening came and Wild had made all of the another delicious dish, Twilight started a converstation.

"So Wild, what's Flora like?" Wind asked excitedly. That seemed like a great question. Not too personal but something to bond over.

"She's..." Wild started thinking hard about something that would give an accurate picture about Zelda. "She's smart. She likes to read and study a lot and she sometimes teaches children at the school, she likes children and is quite good with them. She's also kind and won't hesitate to help anyone on need, sometimes it causes her some exhaustion since she forgets to take care of herself. She also likes flowers and plants in genreal and..." Wild trailed off as he noticed he had started rambling. "I'm sorry I got a bit lost in thought." Wild murmured quietly, the ends of his pointed ears turning a bit red from embarrasment.

The chain was quiet for a moment, staring at Wild. That had been by far the most he'd ever spoken with them. Of course it wasn't a bad thing, they were all just really surprised since Wild had ever only talked with like maximum 3 words per sentence.

"Oh no! We liked hearing about Flora, she sounds like an amazing person." Hyrule said with a smile, nods of agreement coming from the group.

"All of our Zelda's are a bit different but they do share some similar traits as well. Just like we all do." Sky said happily as he stuffed his mouth full of Wild's vegetable soup.

Wild didn't answer anything, but he didn't really need to since the small smile on his lips didn't go unnoticed by the chain.

"Alright who wants the second watch?" Time asked loudly, gaining an annoyed groan from everyone.

So weird how a single question can cause a 30- minute argument. Although the argument was mostly between Legend and Warriors, the two of the having avoided the second shifts for quite awhile now. The situation ended with Legend getting the watch after Warriors promised to buy him candy the next time they went to a town.

Wild found himself laughing at the bickering of the two and it was at that momet that he realized. Maybe he'd just been overthinking this a bit too much. Maybe he'd get along with the chain afterall.

So this was my first linked universe. I hope I wrote them alright and that you all liked it :)
