(linked universe)(also the champions are dead for the plot)
(Wild's POV)
Wild had slowly been getting more and more comfortable with the chain, in fact he'd been feeling for a while now that he would want to open up to them soon. About all of his journey. He had told them some stuff about him. Such as his friends, favourite food and what he liked to do when he was alone, the things people usually talk about while getting to know eachother. But he hadn't told them anything truly meaningfull.
He didn't really have to tell them, no, in fact Time had told him when he first joined that he had all the time (hah) in the world to figure out wether he even wanted to tell them or not.
But Wild wanted to tell them. Really. He'd never really talked about anything to anyone. Well except Zelda but that wasn't the same. The other Link's, they were heroes after all and they literally shared a soul so surely he could talk to them about his quite traumatic past. Right?
Well it seems that Hylia didn't want to watch his second guessing anymore.
.....................................................................
It had been a mostly quiet day. As quiet as it really got with nine heroes camping together. They had decided to take a vacation day since they had been fighting for the last three days without a break. They had spotted a nice little spot in the middle of the forest and took it as an opportunity to lay low for a couple of days.
Wild had made them another one of his delicious meals and everyone was happy with their full stomachs.
Wild was with Twilight on laundry duty and they were by the river, not far away from the camp. Wild was humming a quiet tone while trying to wash a difficult stain of the wildberry jam (from Wind's shirt) that he had made a couple of days ago. Maybe he could try some other jam recipes next. Such as durian jam or apple jam. Wild was suddenly cut off his thoughts by a sudden shout by Twilight.
"Hey kid! Catch this!" Twilight said as he threw an apple towards Wild.
Too bad that right at that moment Wild was pulled into one of his memories.
(memory starts)
"Hey kiddo! Catch this!" Link's father shouted from far away.
Link caught the ball with his quick reflexes. They were throwing the ball outside since it was a beatiful day. Playing catch with his father was perhaps one of Link's favourite activities.
"Come inside boys! Food's ready!" Link's mother shouted from the door.
"Let's go Link. I'll race you to the door." Link's father said challenging Link.
Link ended up winning, perhaps that was because his father had been deliberately slower than him, but Link didn't need to know that.
"Go wash your hands first Link, you know the rules." His mother said when Link tried to steal a bread from the table.
Link ran into the bathroom with a grin and washed his hands as quick as he could. After all the food was his favourite food and he could not wait to get to taste it.
"All right, come sit by the table Link." His mother said with a warm smile.
He sat by the table and looked at his parents for one final time before he got pulled from the memory.
(memory ends)
"Wild, Wild. Wake up." He heard someone call.
"I swear, he was just fine until he just suddenly went all limb and started staring blankly ahead of him." Said someone else now. Someone familiar, although he couldn't really put a name to the voice.
