(Link's (Wild's) POV)

"Open your eyes..."

"Wake up Link."

'Who was that?!'

His eyes opened and flashed them straight back closed.

'Why was everything so bright? And why did his whole body feel like it's underwater?'

'And who was Link?'

He opened his eyes again. It was more fine now. The water decended away from his body and he could feel again.

Link got up. Very slowly and carefully that is.

"Go to the pedestal, you'll obtain the sheikah slate from there." said the same voice again, making Link almost jump.

He walked across the room and grabbed the 'sheikah slate' as the mysterious voice had called it. It had some strange eye thingy but Link decided that it was probably just some weird design choice.

The door suddenly opened and he continued his journey onward untill he found two pieces of clothing. Some little voice in his head recognized them as a 'shirt' and some 'pants'.

He put them on, which took like 10 minutes since Link wasn't really sure how to exactly put them on.

When he finally managed to slip his left arm through the hole, another door opened. This time some light came out of the door. The light seemed somehow different to the one he had woken up to, but Link couldn't figure out why.

Link went through the door and went on until he dippes his feet into something wet. 'Water' his brain explained to him. The 'water' kinda scared him since he had just woken up from the same thing and some irrational part of his brain thought that the floor would drown him or something.

Luckily that did not happen and Link climbed his way out.

It was beautiful. Link liked this, whatever it was called.

"Heeeyyyy!" A deep voice called from his right side.

There was some very shady looking person there calling his name. 'not today' Link thought quickly and went to his left side instead. Which was the edge off a cliff.

And he fell, and he blacked out.

(Twilight's POV)

"Outch..." Twilight mumbled as he landed roughly through the portal.

He had just been getting some ingredients for their dinner when suddenly a portal had appeared and sucked him right in.

Twilight got up and stared at the portal. 'huh...strange. Usually the others don't take this long.' he thought.

The portal snapped closed.

Twilight froze. He probably stood there for good 5 minutes, wondering what to do next when he heard a high-pitched sound from behind him. He turned around just in time to see a person falling down a cliff.

Twilight ran over to the person and gently rolled him over to see his face. The person looked roughly 18, at most.

"Hey kid, can ya hear me?" Twilight asked worried.

It wasn't a really long drop. Maybe 5 meters or so, and the ground was filled with leaves so he couldn't have hurt himself too badly. A concussion might be likely. He had learned a lot from Hyrule on the medical field so he knew enough to be helpful.

The person opened his eyes slowly.

"Yea, that's good, keep 'em open." Twilight continued talking to him.

"Who ar' you?" The person asked, his voice slurring a bit.

"You can call me Twilight." He said smiling now that the person was awake.

"Okay." The person said looking everywhere but in Twilight's eyes.

"And you are...?" Twilight asked looking at the stranger.

"It's uh..." He seemed to be really wondering what to answer. "Oh! Yeah, Link." Link said finally.

'So it was that easy huh.' Twilight thought.

"It's very nice to meet you Link." He said genuine happiness showing from his eyes. At least he wasn't completely alone. "Say, Link. Where exactly are we? I'm not really around here." Twilight asked wondering were they could be.

"Oh, i have no idea." Link announced.

"What... really?" Twilight uttered surprised. No Link had ever been unaware of their surroundings.

"Yeah. I have no idea. I woke up like 10 minutes ago and everything is a bit crazy." Link stated.

'This Link is getting weirder by the second.' Twilight thought looking at Link with a questionable gaze. 'I should probably explain who I really am before things get out of hand. Well... here goes nothing.'

"Listen, Link. My real name is really Link as well. I travel with seven other heroes trough time, who all carry the triforce and are named Link as well. We were send by Hylia herself to go on this quest to find black blooded monsters. You Link are one of us and you'll need to come with us too since... well Hylia probably won't give you any choice. Also I got separated from the other heroes so I'm currently alone. Any questions?" Twilight said out of breath after speaking so fast. He didn't normally do the speeches when they got a new Link and he wasn't really good at it.

Link just looked at him for a minute in total silence.

"Sooo, what is the triforce." Link asked finally and Twilight froze for a second. But before he could answer, Link was already on the next question. "Also what is Hylia? What does it mean to be a 'hero'? And what are black blooded monsters or really monsters in general?" Link asked confusion ridden all over his face.

Twilight just stared right at him.

"How do you... how do you not know any of that?" Twilight blurted.

"Uhh... I don't know. I just don't I guess. I mean I just woke up ten minutes ago. I don't really know anything." Link shrugged.

"Wait. What do you mean you don't know anything?!" Twilight asked.

"I uh... don't really know. I mean, I know my name is Link and I know all the stuff you just told me but other than that." Link said pausing for a while, seemingly looking for words. "I don't literally know anything." he finished.

"Wait... are you like an amnesiac?" Twilight asked hesitantly.

Link just blinked a couple of times before saying "A what now?".

"An amnesiac is someone who has lost their memory." Twilight explained simply.

"Oh. Then I suppose I could be." Link said shrugging. "Again I really don't know since I am pretty clueless right now."

"Okay... okay." Twilight mumbled thinking about his next move. "Why did you wake up? I mean why now? And do you have any idea how long it has been?" he asked looking directly at Link again.

"Oh! Yeah, I didn't tell you. Some lady was whispering in my ear. She was like 'Link you gotta wake up. You're Hyrule's last hope' or something like that." Link said shrugging it off once again.

"Okay great. Did you see the source of the voice after waking up?" Twilight asked, happy now that he was finally getting somewhere.

"Well not really. There was no lady when I opened my eyes." Link said thoughfully and Twilight groaned. "Wait! I saw someone else. There was this man who called out to me but I didn't go to him 'cause he looked really shady."
Link said thinking back.

"There's another person here?" Twilight asked and Link just nodded in confirmation. "Great, let's to him." Twilight told Link and took his arm, leading him out of the forest.

"The shady man is waiting for us." Twilight said as they walked through the forest towards the person who hopefully could give them some answers.
