I look at the big house through the dark glass, squeezing the seat of her car with my hands, not liking the idea of entering it.

I no longer feel the same desire to be in my own house, not knowing that Robert is inside.

-Hey, he won't do anything to you, okay? - I turn my face to Kylie, who holds my arm gently.

I shake my head agreeing, taking my hands off the seat, opening the vehicle door next.

When I'm about to leave, Kylie holds my shoulder and I turn around confused.

- Are you going to forget your friend? - she points back, making me look through the seats, seeing the big teddy bear.

I had forgotten about this cuteness.

- Of course not, it's a gift from you - I smile from the corner, pulling the plush with all the delicacy I have.

When I pull him forward with a little difficulty, I see that the smaller bear was thrown in the corner of the back seat, so I left the bigger one on Kylie and knelt on the seat, stretching my arm to catch him.

As soon as I grab him, I returned to the normal position, looking at Kylie who has a laughing expression.

- All this for a bear? - she asks, with her sarcastic smile, giving me the biggest smile.

- it's not just any bear, this is yours - I extend the brown hair plush with a small red bow. My smile is clear as I hug the biggest one with the other arm.

But I'm afraid when Kylie stares at the bear in my hand fixedly, without making a even movement, with a neutral expression, leaving me agonized inside.

- For me? - she looks up, and I notice a sparkle in her eyes.

Maybe behind this whole pose there is a very cute woman.

- yes, it's for you to always remember me - I look at her with hope that she accepts it and sighs when she takes the plush with delicacy.

- I find it hard to forget you, Baker - she speaks in a low tone, caressing the plush, looking at it with affection.

- I'll make sure I don't forget, Cantrall - I say, making her stare at me.

- I'll take you to your door - she gets out of the car, leaving the teddy bear on her seat.

She open to the door, leaving her car, a little clumsy because of the bear. Kylie approaches and closes the vehicle door, following me silently along the stone path to the door of my house.

As soon as we stop in front of the large white wooden door with golden details, I turn to her, still in silence.

Many things happened tonight, and what I least expected was her confession. It still doesn't seem real, but I try to believe her words, deluding myself between her beautiful words.

- thank you for the night, Cantrall - I smile, watching her straighten her dark hair. - you're not so bad at choosing a place - I let out a laugh, fixing the plush in my arms.

Kylie looks at me with a cute smile on her lips, making me forget all the shit she does. How can such a cute being do these things?

- I can surprise you more sometimes - she crosses her arms, tilts her head a little to the side and increases her smile.

- I'm starting to see that - I say, turning to the door, taking the key inside the bag.

As soon as I find it, I unlock the door and turn around one last time, seeing Kylie over the moonlight, causing a nice feeling in my stomach.
