The phone quickly connected, but after two rings it was hung up. I didn't give up and dialed again, and this time it was even faster, and I was hung up instantly.

I was a little puzzled, but I still sent her a WeChat message asking why she didn't answer the phone. As a result, the message was like a stone sinking into the sea, and I didn't get a response for a long time.

I felt even more helpless, and suddenly I remembered that I had promised her before to go to the square to play racing cars after dinner. If I just walked away like this, it would mean breaking my promise, so I made her unhappy.

I sighed, and suddenly I lost my appetite for dinner. I wanted to go to my room to rest for a while. As I passed Renee's room, I noticed that it was not closed, so I subconsciously glanced inside, but unexpectedly found that the car racing game on the table was gone.

"She wouldn't have gone to play car racing by herself, would she?" I muttered.

That was actually possible! I immediately forgot about resting, took out the car keys from my pocket, closed the door, and quickly ran downstairs.

I drove all the way to the square where we often played with the car, parked the car, and ran along the pedestrian walkway to the square.

It was winter, and it was almost 9 o'clock, so there were almost no people in the square. I easily found Renee sitting on a bench, holding a remote control in her hand, looking a little bored and a little lonely.

I approached her quietly, then stood behind her and suddenly said, "Why aren't you playing with the car anymore?"

I thought it would surprise her, but she calmly replied, "None of your business!"

I walked around from behind her to in front of her, smiled and asked, "Ooh, angry?"

"Who wants to get angry with you..."

"You're just admitting it, I didn't say you were angry with me."

Renee gave me a look and ignored me, getting up and picking up the remote control car from the ground and walking towards the exit of the square.

I followed her relentlessly and then grabbed her, saying, "How come I find that your princess disease has been getting worse lately? ...I was only out for a little while!"

Renee struggled and frowned, saying, 'Let go of me, don't provoke me!"

"I really didn't realize before that you had such a bad temper, it's hidden deep enough!' I exclaimed, but I didn't let go of her.

"Didn't you say that women have those few days every month? What's wrong with me having a bad temper? This is a right you've given me!"

I said with a look of realization, "Oh, you're having your period... But this is not a right I've given you, it's more like a right your period has given you!"

Facing my teasing, Renee was not angry, but said with a half smile, "So are you going to mess with me or not?"

"Isn't that right? ...Didn't you just come last week? Is your cycle a bit short?"

"You're the one who imposed it on me last time, okay?"

"Oh."

Renee broke free with a forceful effort, then walked towards the exit again. I caught up with her again but didn't hold her back. I followed her pace and said, "Don't be angry, okay? Today is an exceptional situation!"

"Which time you breaking your promise to me is not an exceptional situation?"

I was speechless for a while, and then I thought about it and really felt that way. So I said with a weak voice, "Then just give me a chance to make it up."
