Dylan (POV) :

"Soooooo that was some shocking information" Alex sighed rubbing her temples.

"You're telling me, I feel like my brain isn't fully comprehending the information." I sighed as I thought back to the call.

We hadn't heard from Aurora in two weeks. The last time we spoke she had mentioned staying in Hickson for awhile. I had been surprised that she was taking a break from searching for Jay, not that I could blame her. It's been 18 years of non stop searching, we hadn't even come close to finding Vivian. As much as I had wanted to search for Jayden I felt as though I needed to focus on the rest of my family. We had been focusing so much on finding Jayden that we had completely forgotten how to live. It was like our entire purpose in life was to find Jayden. The stress of finding Jayden had worn on my mates and I, which had started to effect our children.

It was around year five of searching for Jayden that I had entrusted other members of my pack to search for Jayden. I needed to focus on my mates and my six other children. Yes you heard me correctly SIX children. Technically we would only have five if we didn't have a set of twins. To top it all off we managed to have all girls. Which baffled everyone, you'd think out of seven kids you'd have one boy. So for the last 13 years I had spent as much time as possible with my family. I still joined my mom's when they would get new leads on Vivian's whereabouts but for the most part we always came up empty handed. I was getting close to giving up, that was until Aurora called last night.

"Don't you think this whole thing is a little suspicious?" Alex said breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah I mean why would Vivian offer her a job? It doesn't make any sense there's no way she doesn't know Aurora is on our side." Ivy replied.

"No it's extremely suspicious however it might be the only chance we get to find out where Vivian is. I trust Aurora to do this she's never let us down before." I defended.

"No ones debating whether we trust Aurora or not. It just seems dangerous to send her there alone. After everything she's done for us it just doesn't feel right." Aria spoke up.

"I don't know what other choice we have. Either Aurora goes and possibly gains extremely valuable information, or she doesn't and we continue the way we have been for the last 18 years." My voice was more angry than I had meant to be.

"We know Dill it's just hard to put this all on one persons shoulders." Ivy said as she rubbed my back.

Just before I could respond there was a knock on the front door. Alex got up from the couch to answer the door as we followed behind her. When the door swung open we were greeted with a huge smile from the small blonde.

"Aurora!" Alex exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around Aurora.

"Alex! I've missed you!" She giggled as Alex twirled her around.

"What are we chop liver?" Ivy pouted with her bottom lip stuck out.

"Of course not! I've missed all of you, it's been way too long."

"Now that's something I can agree on" I said pulling her into a tight hug.

"Come on in! We can talk in the living room." Aria said gesturing inside the house.

Aurora (POV):

The Avery's house was huge, no it was gigantic. I don't think I had ever seen a house that was so large. The only thing bigger would be an actual castle. Their house was absolutely stunning it looked like a huge log cabin. I couldn't help but look around as Aria led us through the house and into the living room. For a moment I had almost forgotten why they needed such a large house. That was until I heard loud foot steps coming down a staircase that I couldn't quite see from where I was standing.
