4) Stay Over?

Annabeth's POV

I couldn't believe I let myself slip up like that, telling Percy who my roomate was. For the past two days, I've tried as hard as I can do hide my true self from Percy, keeping everything professional. It was no use.
I ran out of Percy's dorm as quickly as I could before he could ask more questions about Drew. As I made my way to my dorm, I couldn't help wondering how easy it is to talk to Percy. When I spoke to him, it felt like we've been friends for years, in reality, my friends have been bullying him for years. Guilt ran through my body as I recall the horrible things Luke and my friends have done to him.
Soon after I had left Percy's dorm, I found myself at the door of my room. I hesitated as I reach for the door. Voices and moans seem to come from inside them. Disgust fills my body, no way am I going in there.  

With out a second thought I ran to the only other place I feel comfortable at. I knock on the door and wait for an answer. "Hey!" Percy says with a lopsided smile. "Did you forget something?" "Um... I know this is like, a weird request but, could I stay over here tonight?" Percy's face froze. Shit. I knew I shouldnt of asked, I should of slept in the library like last time. What was I thinking?! I internally smacked myself on the head. "Oh, um, yeah. I mean, if you want, you can sleep on my bed and I'll sleep on the air mattress." Percy smiled at me awkwardly. "Really?!" I smiled at him and gave him a hug. At first, he body felt rigid in shock, but after a second, he hugged back. 

-----NEXT DAY-----

I woke up feeling refreshed, Percy's bed was comfortable and warm. His sheets smelled like the ocean air. I got out of bed, careful not to wake Percy up, who was out cold. I took a shower and put the sweats that Percy gave me back on. I put on some concealer and mascara, I didn't feel like wearing lots of makeup today. I exited the bathroom to be met with a half awake Percy. He groaned as he turned his blaring alarm off. "Stupid alarm." He muttered. "Goodmorning. Thanks for letting me sleep over." I said, hoping he was awake enough to understand what I was saying. "Um, yeah..." He says as he rubs sleep out of his eyes. I checked the time on my phone, 20 minutes until 1st period began. "You should probably start getting ready, school starts in 20 minutes." I advised, knowing Percy probably wouldn't listen to me. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll get up in 10 minutes." He compromised, I rolled my eyes. "What class do you have first up?" I asked, wondering if we share the same classes. I remembered my timetable;

Period 1 - Gym / HPE

Period 2 - Science

 - Break - 

Period 3 - Math

Period 4 - Home Economics

 - Break - 

Period 5 - Greek Mytholegy

"Umm... I think I have gym class first." Percy says, rolling around on the air mattress.
 "Same!" I squealed, automatically covering my mouth in embarressment.
"We can walk together," Percy suggested. A smile formed on my face, finally someone I can hang out with in class besides Drew. My phone dinged as I recived a message.

Hey Annabeth! do u have gym in period 1, jus wondering if we could walk together  x  - Piper

Yeah sure, meet me at dorm 20B  x  - Annabeth

Percy groaned and rolled off his air mattress. "Imma get changed, uh, meet me outside in a minute." I could feel myself blush as I walked out side and waited by the door. As I wait, I hear a familliar voice call my name,
"ANNABETH!" Piper calls and she runs up to me. "Why are we waiting here, why not at your dorm?" Piper asks as she fixes her skirt. I smile awkwardly,
"umm... We're waiting for a friend, we'll all walk together." I say, not meeting her eyes.
 "Okay. Who? Cause, I'm not gonna lie, Drew has become mad annoying!" She looks at me, curiosity igniting in her eyes. Before I could answer, Percy walks out of the door,
"Uh- um..." 

Oh shit.

Percy's POV

What the fuck?  Why was Piper Mclean outside my dorm? Confusion rippilled through my body. "Uh- Piper, this is Percy. Percy, this is Piper." Annabeth hurridly said.
"Um, what is going on?" Piper nudged Annabeth, eyebrows raised, and staring straight at me. "Sooo, Percy is in gym with us, so we'll walk together." Annabeth turned to Piper, giving her a reassuring look. "You said it yourself, you don't want to hang out with Drew, and neither do I." Piper looked at me, and then back at Annabeth.
"Fine, I dont really care anyway, but we really have to talk about the whole Drew/Luke situation, it is reallyyy getting out of hand." Piper giggles, she reajusts her rings then stares at Annabeth. "I am really loving the whole, grey sweats look. Really suits you." Annabeth looks down then giggles.
"C'mon, we gotta get going otherwise Coah Hedge is going to make us do pushups." Annabeth grabs my hand and pulls me along the corridoor, with Piper following behind.

Okayyyyy.... So i think i know what to put next, soz i hadnt updated in a while but oh well. jus wasnt feeling it y'know. By the way, is this a good length, I feel like it is but, let me know. ;)
