6) Study Sleepover

Percy's POV

I was worried about this study sleepover thing. My social battery never seemed to last longer than 1 period, let alone 12 hours. Although Annabeth reassured me saying that I'll make good friends with Frank, Jason, and Leo. I wasn't so sure.

-----SATURDAY-----

I walked towards Annabeth's dorm. She had called me 10 minutes ago, insisting I pick her up to take her to Piper's house. 

"Hey, Percy!" She called as she carried her bags out of the door. I quickly ran towards her and helped her with her bags. 

"Why do you have so many bags?" I said as I attempted to pick them all up. 

"For my books!" She calls.

"You don't really  think we'll study?" I scoffed, 

"You think we won't?" She raised an eyebrow, "Not my fault your brain is filled with kelp! Seaweed Brain!" She giggled at me. 

"Wisegirl!" I retorted. 

"Thank you for the compliment."

Once we arrived, I was in shock, Piper's house wasn't a house. It was a mansion. 

"So glad you guys made it!" Piper cries as she tackles Annabeth in a hug, and before I knew it, Piper was giving me a hug as well.  

"Be a gentleman, Seaweed Brain, and unpack my bags!" Annabeth shouted as she ran off into the house, her blonde ponytail bouncing behind her. 

After I had unpacked all of our stuff into the sleeping area, Jason, Leo, Calipso, Frank, and Hazel had arrived.

"I'm so happy you all came!" Piper squealed. "So the boys will be sleeping in that room." She gestered towards a room across the hall dotted with thin foam mattresses."And the rest of us will be in here." She spread her hands as if she had designed this room herself. 3 airmattresses where alligned neatly in front of the TV.

"No fair! You guys get the TV!" Leo argued, Piper rolled her eyes.

We had been studying for about 10 minutes before my stomach started grumbling. "What's for dinner?" I ask. 

"Yeah, man. I'm so hungry I could eat Calipso!" Leo grinned at Calipso before getting a smack on the head with a textbook. 

"It's only 5:30 pm! But fine! I'll order the pizza now." Piper said dramatically. All of the boys cheered, I guess pizza really brings the mood up. We all lay in a circle eating our pizza in comfortable silence, "let's watch a movie." Piper suggests, grabbing the remote, 

"we should watch the hunger games!" Leo screams, "I love the Hunger Games!" 

"Woah! Inside voice!" Calipso giggles, nudging Leo. The next 10 minutes included us arguing over; The Hunger Games, Barbie, and the Purge, after much begging and pleading from Leo, we decided to watch The Hunger Games. 

Annabeth yawned, "are you tired Wise girl?" I asked her, a smile dancing across my face. 

"Nooo, why would I be?" She said sarcastically.

"No reason."

We all sat on the airmatresses infront of the TV, there were 3 mattresses, and 8 people, so there was barely any room. Annabeth and I were stuck on the edge of a bed, attempting to position our selves so we wouldn't fall off and onto the cold tiles. As soon as the movie started, I felt Annabeth relax beside me, nestling her head on my shoulder. Shortly after the opening scene finished, Annabeth's head was buried in my shirt, her eyes slightly closed. My right hand hovered awkwardly above her back, until I grew enough courage to place it down. 

2 hours, and 3 boxes of pizza later, the movie finished. Through out the movie, Annabeth had migrated half of her body on top of mine, and my hands fell on top of her back. "What should we do now?" Hazel asks, I groan, not wanting to move from Annabeth and I's comfortable position.

"We should play a game." Leo suggests. "What game? Not truth or dare! Cause last time I got dared to jump off a roof." Frank mutters, raising his eyebrows in reminisance. Contrary to Frank's comment, we decided to play 'Truth or Dare'.

 Annabeth's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about the movie, I had woken up practically on top of Percy, my head buried in his shirt and my arms spread across his chest. After we had decided to play Truth or Dare, I sat up, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

Hazel began the game, "Frank, truth or dare?" She asks, 

"Uh, um, truth." Frank mutters.

 "Haha, have you had your first kiss?" She looks at him intently. Frank's face grew a dark shade of red. 

"No..." he says quietly. 

"Frank's turn!" Leo called out, turning the attention away from Frank's answer. 

"Um- right. Leo... truth or dare?" Leo smirked, 

"Dare."

 "I dare you to... shave one of your arms!" Frank smiled to himself in victory.

5 minutes later, and with the help of Calipso, Leo had an arm that resembled a hairless cat. "Alright, after that, my turn... Percy! Truth or dare?" Leo pointed at Percy. Percy paused for a minute, then decided, 

"Dare." He said numbly. 

"I dare you to swap clothes with Annabeth." A smile grew on my face, 

"What?!" I cried, attempting to mask my laughter. "That's not fair! It's Percy's dare, not mine!" I looked around the room, expecting at least one sympethetic face, but was met with giggling looks. I gave up, "fine."

-----AFTER CLOTHES SWAP-----

Percy and I walked back into the room, I was wearing Percy's ACDC black t-shirt and grey cargo pants, his pants couldn't quite fit me so I had to pull them up every 30 seconds.. And Percy had managed to squeeze into my tight pink crop top, although he couldn't quite fit into my denim skirt, so I gave him my baggy jeans that I had packed.

"Wow Perce! Pink is really your colour!" Jason laughs. "You should wear it more often!" A chorus of giggles erupted in the group. 

After 5 minutes of the whole group fangirling over our outfits, Percy insisted on continuing the game. 

"Jason, truth or dare?" Percy stared at Jason, a lopsided smile forming on his face.

"Uh- um... truth." 

"Do you have a crush on anyone in this room?" Jason's face turned the colour of a firetruck. I nudged Piper's shoulder.

"Yes." Jason said, looking directly at Piper.

Percy opened his mouth to continue the questions but was cut off by Leo. 

"No further questions!" Leo cried, "Your turn Jason." Jason sighed in relief.

Word Count - 1100 words

WOW!! This has taken me so long! Normally it will take me a day to write a chapter, but i have edited and changed the storyline so much that it has taken me a week. Each paragraph has been deleted and changed at least twice! I really hope you like it. There will be a part two of the study sleep over. I just really wanted to get this over and done with 🙃
