Shivaay froze hearing the name.
"None of your business"
"Well it is my business. Hum ek saal se date karrahe par mujhe ye nahi pata ki ek ladki hai jiska naam sunte hi aap baukhla jaate hai( we have been dating for a year and I don't know about this woman whose name is enough for you to be riled up)" she was spitting facts. How would they come up as a convincing couple if she doesn't even know his past.
"She is my ex and thats what you should know" he said and left the room
"Aaila, iss sadu ko bhi kisise pyaar tha" Anika laughed and went to get freshen up
In the Dining Hall, everyone gathered for breakfast.
"When's the groom family coming?" Shivaay asked.
"Shaam ko aayenge aur dinner karke hi jayenge( they will come in the evening and will leave after dinner)"
Anika came down after getting ready and felt so happy to see the entire family seating together for breakfast.
"Anika beta aaja" pinky called her
"Good morning everyone. Namaste dadi"
"Tujhe kya lagta hai puttar, ye buddhi maa good morning nahi samajhti?(What do you think? This old woman doesn't know what good morning is)" Dadi said and laughed.
"Aisa nahi hai dadi. Aapke liye bas special"
Shivaay couldn't believe how this is the same woman who was behaving differently in the morning.
"Aajka kya plan hai Anika? (Whats your plan for today Anika?)" Jhanvi asked.
"I dont know Aunty. Priyanka ke sasural wale to aahi rahe hai. Mai ghar me hi madad karsakti hu kuch.( Priyanka 's in laws are coming. I can help here)" She knew she will get bored eventually.
"And I will be going to the office with both of you" shivaay directed towards Shakti and Tej. They were displeased by his sentence.
"Nahi. Agar tujhe hum office le gaye to teri maa mujhe ghar me ghusne nahi degi(If I take you to office, your mother won't let me inside the house)"
Pinky hit Shakti's shoulders
"Mera beta aaya hai ghar after so longs. Iss hafte take rest aur phir jana office( my son is here after so long. Take rest this week and then go home)"
"Ma, this can't happen. I need to be in the office. I haven't seen it for 2 years" shivaay protested but then Anika held his hand and brought his face closer to her.
She whispered, "Ruk jaiye yaha. Warna mere muh se pata nahi kya nikal jaaye din me(Stay for today, who knows what I blabber in front of your family)"
"Thik hai. I will be at home today" shivaay said immediately making everyone smile
"Abhi se patni ki baat maanne lage hai bhaiya (Brother has already started listening to his wife)" Rudy's words made everyone laugh.
After the breakfast, all went to do their chores and Shivaay decided to spend time with his brothers.
Priyanka took Anika with herself to her room
"You know Anika, I am so thankful that bhaiya is here" she said as they sat on her bed.
"Obviously he will be here for your wedding. He loves you" Anika couldn't understand that why it is such a big deal for the son to come back to home.
"Mai sochrahi aapko kapde dikhane ka. To na shaadi ka jore ka design de diya hai already for customization. Par mehendi aur Sangeet ka abtak samajh hi nahi aaraha. (I was thinking I will show you clothes. For wedding, my lehenga design is already finalized but can't think of what should I wear for mehendi and Sangeet)" Priyanka was so excited.
