Quackity's POV:
The week ended and Wilbur said he had a dinner planned with his brothers and parents. He usually had one with his entire family at the end of the month, which had practically flown by. He said he wanted Quackity to be there.
When the final bell rang his anxiety hit him again. He will admit, he was nervous about meeting the rest of Wilbur's family. But it went well with his kids, so surely it'll go well with his brothers and parents...right?
He was stuck in thought when Wilbur knocked on his door, "Are you ready to go?"
"Umm yeah I guess, just a bit nervous." Quackity admitted. Wilbur walked over to him and held his hands.
"There's nothing to worry about Quackity, they'll love you. You already met Tallulah, Fundy, Tommy and Techno, so you just have my parents left! You'll know most of the people there, you'll just get to know them more. Plus if something happens I'll be there for you. I promise." Wilbur kissed Quackity's hands after reassuring him. This helped a lot, but he was still a little anxious.
The two walked to Wilbur's car. Quackity had been spending a lot of time at Wilbur's house, so he found little use for his own car. I mean at this point they basically lived together, just Quackity still paid rent for his apartment and had furniture. But most of his clothes were at Wilbur's house along with some other belongings.
The dinner was at 5:30 and school let out at 2:25, so they had some time to cook and prepare. They drove home and discussed different dinner ideas. When they got home they had about 3 hours until dinner, so they relaxed for a bit.
They sat on the couch and cuddled while watching TV until about 4:30. At that time they started on dinner and finished at about 5:25, so they called down the kids and waited.
Around 5:30 the doorbell rang and Wilbur went to get it. Quackity stood at the entrance to the living room and saw Techno walk in. They both acknowledged each other and Quackity watched more people walk in. Tommy walked in with two adults, one man that looked like an older version of Tommy and a woman with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. The older man was wearing a green jacket with a white striped shirt underneath and black pants. The woman was wearing a black dress with roses on it.
They greeted Wilbur first and then after they got into the house they saw Quackity.
"Hello! Who are you?" The man asked.
Before Quackity could respond Wilbur answered, "Dadza and Mumza, this is Quackity, my boyfriend. Quackity these are my parents, Phil and Kristin."
"Nice to meet you!" Quackity held out his hand and Phil took it, shaking it.
Kristin pulled him into a hug and whispered, "Glad Wilbur finally found someone new." Quackity smiled at her and everyone walked into the dining room to eat. Phil and Wilbur sat at the two ends. From the end closest to the kitchen wall clockwise sat Phil, Fundy, Tallulah, Quackity, Wilbur, Techno, Tommy, and Kristin.
On the table was chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls. Everyone had food on their plate and was eating while making conversation.
"So Quackity, how'd you meet Wilbur?" Kristin asked.
"I met him at work, I teach Spanish down the hall from him." Quackity responded while looking at Kristin. After he spoke he glanced at Wilbur and they shared a glance.
"Oh that's nice, so you see each other every day?" Phil asked.
"Yeah, and it fucking sucks." Tommy butted in, "Sometimes during Q's class Wilbur will come in and they'll fucking flirt! It's shitty! I can't even leave!"
"Besides all the cursing I agree with Tommy, they make me feel like the third wheel."
Both Quackity and Wilbur were blushing and avoiding eye contact. They only looked back up when Kristin started speaking.
"I think it's cute, it's been a while since we've seen a new face in your life. It's refreshing. Plus you seem happier, so that's nice."
Quackity looked towards Wilbur. He seemed to be thinking, but Quackity couldn't tell what about specifically. Quackity just placed his hand on Wilbur's thigh and comforted him. Wilbur looked up and smiled at him lovingly.
Time Skip:
After dinner ended, Wilbur and Quackity did the dishes. They then sat on the porch with the rest of the family, watching the sunset and talking.
Quackity was leaning against Wilbur on the couch with Wilbur's arm around him. Techno sat at the other end of the couch with one leg on the couch and leaning against the armrest. Kristin and Phil were across from them on the couch.
Tommy, Fundy, and Tallulah were inside playing hide and seek.
They talked more about work and other personal stuff when Tommy came bursting through the door. He immediately hid behind the couch Kristin and Phil were on as the group looked at him in confusion.
"Toms, what are you doing?" Phil asked Tommy.
"Shh Phil, I'm playing hide and seek! Tallulah's seeking, don't give me away!" Tommy crouched behind the couch, peeking out occasionally to see if Tallulah was approaching.
"Okay, Tommy." The conversation continued until a few minutes later when the door opened. Tallulah burst through and started looking around.
"Papa, have you seen Uncle Tommy?" Tallulah asked Wilbur.
"Sorry petal, I haven't," Wilbur told Tallulah, but gestured towards the back of the couch. Tallulah smiled and inched towards the couch. She jumped out from around the couch and scared Tommy. She tagged him and started laughing.
"Jesus Christ Tallulah! You can't scare a man like that!" Tommy exclaimed and Tallulah just kept laughing. They left to probably find Fundy with Tallulah still chuckling and Tommy scowling at her.
A couple of hours passed and it was dark now, so they headed inside. Quackity checked the time, 7:45 PM.
"Hey Wilbur, it's getting kinda close to the kid's bedtime."
Wilbur looked at the time and realized how late it was. He then addressed the family, "Well it is getting close to the kid's bedtime, so I think it's a good point to wrap this up."
"Yeah, I'm starting to get tired, so I'm going to head out." Techno said.
"We should get going too," Kristin spoke to Phil and he nodded, "It was nice to meet you Quackity! See you guys at the next dinner!" They all said goodbye and headed home.
Fundy and Tallulah were practically falling asleep on the couch when they got to them. They both bent down and brought them to their rooms to go to bed. Quackity brought milk to Fundy's room for him to fall asleep easily, but he was already falling asleep, so it didn't do much. He stayed with him until he was fully asleep and then walked out when Wilbur peeked inside Fundy's room. They both walked downstairs together and Quackity saw a bottle of red wine and two glasses on the table.
"What's all this?" Quackity asked Wilbur.
Wilbur looked down at the floor as he spoke, "I thought we could maybe have a few glasses? I mean the kids are asleep and it's the weekend."
Quackity chuckled, "Sure Wil, I feel like a drink anyway."
Quackity sat down at the table as Wilbur poured the wine. They both drank enough to feel drunk, but not enough to become incompetent in case the kids needed them.
They got closer together and more lovey-dovey. Quackity was sipping from his glass and wrapped around Wilbur's arm. He was rubbing his hand down his arm in comfort.
Wilbur was also sipping from his glass and placing kisses upon Quackity's head. They were both very giggly and energetic.
They finished the bottle and decided to head to bed since it was getting late. They changed into pajamas and got into bed, cuddling until they fell asleep peacefully.
