12~ The End

Btw I don't really know when in the timeline we are, but this happens about a year into the future. It's June, so there's no school.

Quackity's POV:

Quackity woke up to the sun shinning in his face. He grumbled and turned away from the window to face Wilbur. He was still sleeping peacefully and didn't want to disturb him. He started to get up, but was pulled back down by a very sleepy Wilbur. 

"Amor, I just wanted to use the bathroom." Quackity chuckled.

Wilbur murmed a response that Quackity didn't hear, so he repeated himself, "Just a few more minutes...before we go out..."

Quackity was very confused. Wilbur didn't mention anything about going anywhere today. "Go out? Where?"

"You'll see"

Quackity slumped back down so they could cuddle for a bit before getting up. When they finally did Quackity asked Wilbur again where they were going. Wilbur gave a similar vague response before they both got dressed and left the bedroom. But Quackity just kept pestering him.

Wilbur started to give in, "Darling, trust me, you'll love it when we get there!" Quackity grumbled a bit and the two left the house to drive. Wilbur drove for a good 40 minutes before arriving at a forest.

"Wilbur, where are we?" Quackity was very confused and highly suspicious.

"Follow me, it's just another 5 minutes." They both walked through the shrubs until they were met with an open field of wildflowers. Quackity was stunned by how pretty it was. The sun was high in the light blue sky with a few fluffy clouds scattered across it. The flowers were various shades of yellows, pinks, and blues creating a sunset affect on the ground. It was perfect. 

"Wilbur! How did you find this place, it's gorgeous!" Quackity was still in awe.

"Niki told me about it." Quackity was still looking around in awe when he turned to Wilbur and saw him staring at him. He noticed Wilbur take a deep breath before speaking again, "Quackity, can I tell you something for a second?"

Quackity was confused, "Sure? You can always talk to me."

Wilbur closed his eyes and seemed to be gathering courage to speaking to Quackity. Quackity started to get worried.

"Quackity, you know how much I love you." Wilbur started, making Quackity even more nervous, "I've loved you ever since I laid eyes on you. Once we started dating I couldn't imagine living alone again or being with anyone else, which is why I have a question for you."

Wilbur got to the ground and pulled out a ring.

"Will you marry me Alex Quackity?" Wilbur asked. Tears were forming in both his and Quackity's eyes. Quackity responded almost immediately.

"Yes!" Quackity flew down to Wilbur's level, lovingly hugging and kissing his face. Wilbur wasn't expecting him to do that though, and they both fell and rolled down the hill through the flowers.

When they got to the bottom they started laughing uncontrollably. Once they calmed down, they just sat in the quiet and cuddled as the breeze cooled them down from their intense blushing.

Time Skip:

The pair had been sitting in the flowers for a while before they decided to head back and tell the kids the news. They headed back to the car and drove back hand in hand.

When they arrived they opened the door and the twins ran over to greet them as usual. After they finished greeting each other, Wilbur spoke.

"Kids, I have an important announcement." Wilbur started, before he continued he put his arm around Quackity's and held him close, "Me and Quackity are engaged!"

Immediately they started to get excited and jump around. To celebrate they decided to go out for dinner, so they all loaded into the car to go to the restaurant. After they finished eating they went back home and the twins were very tired, so Wilbur and Quackity put them to bed. Quackity had finally put Fundy to bed and walked downstairs, to be greeted with Wilbur next to a small speaker.

When he saw Quackity he leaned over and offered him his hand, to which Quackity grabbed. Wilbur then pulled Quackity forward and placed his hand on his back. Quackity snuggled close to Wilbur as they swayed to the music gently playing from the speaking in the background.
