*AN* k yall its gonna be a bit of a time jump bc this isn't a jack fic- its connor. i hate to do this bc i hate time jumps, but time jump of TWO MONTHS, its the start of summer, jack and isabel have been dating for a month

we plan to head to michigan as soon as we possibly can. we have been long distance for most of our relationship, so were currently trying to find a way to make it work.

I jump out of bed so I can start packing. I think I'm going to drive there so that I can have a car with me. it's a 16 hour drive, so I will have to leave soon and just drive through the night.

I follow the directions that jack gave me, taking me to a really cute lake side house. I get out of the car to stretch my legs and I hear what sounds like a million little kids playing in the backyard.

I go up to the door and knock on it, hoping someone might be inside. Before I know it the door opens up and a older clone of jack greets me, must be one of his brothers.

"hi," he greets, "you must be isabel?" he asks.

"yup! that would be me! I'm assuming your jacks brother, right?" i say not hesitating to give him a hug.

"yes, I'm quinn, jacks older and cooler brother." we both just laugh at his joke, knowing there's some truth to that. "I can help you take your bags in, you're probably exhausted from the drive."

"oh no it's fine I can manage, but thank you for the offer." he doesnt even acknowledge what i said, he just walks outside and starts opening my car doors and grabbing my 3 bags.

"damn she doesn't pack light, that's for sure." he laughs at me

"no one is making you take in my bags, if there's too many I can take them quinn" he doesn't seem to care, once again.

i didn't feel like 3 bags was that unreasonable, after all we are spending the full summer here.

once he shows me to my room he takes me outside to meet everyone.

I walk out and my eyes immediately find jack. I give him a big wave and he comes running over to me and placing a soft kiss on my lips. "hey baby" he smirks

"hi jacky" I say kissing him again "I missed you"

our little moment is interrupted by someone yelling "get a room!" I look around trying to figure out who said that, and I lock eyes with a fluffy brown haired boy, i just give him an annoyed look and give jack one more kiss.

"let me introduce you to everyone!" he says, excited for me to meet his friends.

"this right here is cole, he plays for the canadiens," he explains, cole gives me a really big smile and greets me. "here we have alex, he plays for the kings," jack looks at me waiting to see what I think of his friends so far "nice to meet you alex" I smile.

"looks like you've already met trevor, he-" jack starts telling me about him but I cut him off "ducks right? the one that sings taylor swift on the bench?" i poke fun at trevor

he just sighs "that only happened once, okay?" he looks so defeated. "sure, but coming from a fellow swiftie, I thought it was funny."

"and then later on my younger brother luke will be coming, I think he said he would be bringing a couple friends or something." jack says with his arm tight around my waist.

"and my girlfriend is coming yet" alex pipes up, excited that his buddies get to meet her, just like me.

"i can't wait to meet her!" I say, giving alex a little smile.

I go to my room to put on a hot pink triangle bikini to get a nice tan. i get a text from cassidy as i'm leaving my room, so I text her back updating her on how the drive in was. next thing I know i bump into someone on the stairs. I start falling down, but they grab me before I can.

i look up and see trevor looking at me. "maybe you should keep your eyes off your phone when going down the stairs" he smirks "yeah whatever, thanks for catching me."

at this point his still holding onto me, that is, until jack walks in. "whoah now, whats going on here" he says, stopped in his tracks

we both immediately pull apart, "she just almost fell down the stairs and I just caught her fall, i swear that was it" trevor says backing away from me.

i walk away from trevor without saying anything and I walk towards jack sliding my arms around his waist "babe, i promise it was nothing" I say to jack, who still won't even look at me. "jack- look at me." i grab his face and make him look at me. "I promise jack, i just fell down the stairs, and he just caught me. thats all that happened."

it's takes a minute, but eventually he fakes a smile and looks back at me. "okay, I believe you." i keep my arm around his waist as we walk back outside.

i lay a towel down on the grass and plop down, placing my sunglasses on my face, hoping to get nice and dark.

i'm woken up by jack shaking me, "isabel, alex's girlfriend is here, you should meet her" he says, knowing that I was looking forward to meeting her.

i look up and see a girl with long blonde hair giving alex a big hug. "everyone, this is layla, my girlfriend." he then goes around the circle introducing all of us. she very quickly comes over to me and sparks up a conversation. we talk about how we each met alex and jack, comparing stories.

we decide to sit on lounging chairs for the time being while we get to know each other. a couple hours had passed by and it was time to start thinking about eating supper.

the guys had said that luke was almost here with his buddies and then we would start roasting some wieners for hot dogs.

as if on cue, luke comes to around the side of the house "looks like the party just showed up!" he loudly shouts as a large group of college boys follow him.

he starts ingtroducing everyone, "this right here is ethan, luca, adam, mark, rutger, seamus, and connor," i wasn't paying much attention, until then. my head snaps up as i meet eyes with connor. he starts to walk towards me but I just walk away.

"it's not worth chasing her buddy- you had her and gave her up" i hear jack say to connor.

I walk up to my room and start freaking out, this can't be happening. there's no way I have to spend an entire summer with connor.
