Dorothy and the witch were friends

Everybody remembers how scary the Wicked Witch was. And Dorothy really looked scared when she was trapped, didn't she? 

But really, Judy Garland found it really hard to be afraid of Margaret Hamilton. 

She was just too nice to actually be a witch, according to Judy. 

But apparently she was witchy enough for this film. 

And kooky enough to be on The Addams Family twenty years later.
