Even the snow was dangerous! 

Now, y'all have gotta remember the iconic poppy field scene. 

It ends with Glinda making it snow and the spell is broken. 

Some of you are probably wondering how they pulled the snow off. 

Well, you're about to be surprised by this fact, and it's not very pleasant. 

You see, the snow they used is actually asbestos. 

For those of you who don't know what asbestos is, it's a fireproof substance that gives you cancer. 

A lot of movies used it for weather stuff because it was fireproof, and people used build buildings with it. 

No one really knows if the cast had any suffering. 

My guess is they didn't because none of them died of the conditions asbestos gives you.
