Ray's take on it

When he reunited with Judy Garland on her show, Ray Bolger told her that he grew up reading the Wizard of Oz books. 

He told her that what he learned was that everyone has a brain, courage, and a heart.

And if you use them properly, you'll reach what he called "the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow."

Ray explained that the "pot of gold" is your home. Home isn't just a house you live in; it's where the people who love you are. 

I think that interpretation is incredible. And I mean like Ray's dancing incredible.
