Judy couldn't stop laughing

In the scene where the Cowardly Lion is first introduced, Judy Garland could not stop laughing.

And you can't blame her. The three men did the scene hilariously.

In fact, there's a split second in the final film where you can see Judy trying to hold back a smile. Look closely in the part where the Lion is crying after Dorothy hits him.

My follower Amanda told me that she learned this on an app she once had.

But I bet the app didn't tell her this next part.

You see, Judy was so giggly when filming that scene, it was impossible to stop her.

The director Victor Fleming was so frustrated with her, he took her off the set and smacked her.

He smacked her cheek and said "now get in there and work!"

Later, he felt terrible for doing that and told the crew to punch him back.

But Judy kissed his nose instead.

That was nice of her, but it reminds us how weird things were back then.
