The witch was too scary

The Wicked Witch of the West was amazingly played by Margaret Hamilton.

Her performance was so good, the studio worried about her scaring audiences.

Because of that, the studio either trimmed or deleted a lot of her scenes. 

But still, people say the witch terrified them as children. 

Even Hugh Jackman said she was his original nightmare.
