Chapter 14

Dabi stayed in bed for a few more days while we thought about how it would go on from now on. There was a man called Overhaul; he wanted to talk to our leader, so we brought him here. "You brought a crazy big fish, huh, Twice?" Shigaraki said as they entered the house.

"Big fish? That's iconic...League of Villains." The man spoke. "What is that guy someone famous?" Magne asked. "Master showed me a picture of him before. He's what you call Yakuza. The young leader of the Shie Hassaikai." Shigaraki introduced the man. "So he's the number two of organized crime? Oh, I've never seen anything like him. He smells dangerous." Magne said. "Organized crime? How's he different from us?" Toga asked confused. "All right, let me tell you. In the past, there were lots of scary groups that ran the underworld. But after heroes started thriving, they were unmasked and disbanned. And once All Might appeared on the screen, that era was over. The survivors who haven't been caught became designated villain groups... In other words, they were treated like villain reserves just scraping by to make a living under the watch of the police. Frankly, they're obsolete and should be a protected species." Compress told us.

"Protected species, huh? Well, he's not wrong." Overhaul said. "So, why is this impoverished yakuza boy here? Are you also on a high because of All Might's retirement?" Twice asked. "No, it's less about All Might and more about the loss of all for one. The emperor of darkness, who ruled over all of us on the underside of society. And with that power, I'll cursh hero society, staring with it's head." Shigaraki said. "Do you have a plan?" The man asked him.

"A plan? You little...you came here to join us, didn't you?" Shigaraki said. "A goal with no plan is called delusion. If you present me with a delusion, then how am I supposed to react? What are you going to do after you increase your forces?" The man, Overhaul, told us about his plan; it was a long plan, and we all listened to the end.

"And then, I'll become the next leader." He ended his plan, and the whole league was annoyed with him. "Go home." Shigaraki then said. Magne then pulled out her weapon and attacked the man. "Sorry, Yakuza boy, we didn't come together to be under someone. I'm here because I don't want to be bound by anything!" Magne yelled and attacked the man, and just when she hit him, he pushed off the glove and touched her skin. There was a short second when suddenly Magne exploded, and we all looked at the scene confused, and my eyes widen at the sight. "Big sis Mag!" Toga and I yelled.

"You all made the first move. Argh, that's filthy. That's why I hate stuff like this." He said and just then Compress jumped forward to attack him "Wait, Compress!" Shigaraki yelled, but it was too late. "This guy is trouble!" Compress yelled. "I'll use my compress to seal him away." Just then a bullet hit him, and his arm exploded. "Compress!" I yelled, and as he jumped back, I quickly ran to him and started healing the wound. The blood stopped, and we watched the scene as Shigaraki went to attack the man. He went to touch him when another man came out of nowhere and stood in front of that overhaul. A huge man or something broke through the walls, and we were now there facing them. "Wait, where did you..." Twice was confused. "We weren't being followed!" He said. "It was probably someone's quirk." Shigaraki said. "It'll be hard to make objective decisions like this. Right, It's unproductive to cut down each other's forces, aynway. We're even now with one corps on each side. It's a good time to stop. Let's cool our heads and talk again another day. We'll owe you an arm." Overhaul said and went to leave. "Bastard, I'll kill you!" Twice yelled. "Tomura... Can I cut him? I'm going to okay?" Toga asked.

"No." He answered. "Let me take responsibility!" Twice yelled. "No." Shigaraki said again. "Wise decision, Hand Guy." A small creature on the big guy spoke. "It doesn't have to be right away, but the sooner the better. Think carefully about your organization and stuff." He said and threw a card in front of Shigaraki's feet. "Give me a call, once you've calmed down a bit." He said, and they left. "Why did you stop me shigaraki!?" Twice asked. "Jin, more importantly, take Compress to the base, so Kat-chan can take care of him." Toga said, and I nodded.

We then went back to base, and I healed Compress more carefully now while we told Dabi the actions that happened today. Dabi seemed angry at the scene, and after I was done with healing Compress, I walked over to him and fell into his arms, tired. He wrapped his arms around me and held me close. "You wanna rest?" Dabi asked, and I slowly nodded. When suddenly the door got thrown and there stood Toga looking at us with big eyes. "I knew it!" She yelled and pointed at us. "Huh," I said, confused. "How could you, dabi!?" She yelled and pointed at him. "What the fuck do you want, crazy?" Dabi asked her annoyed. "How could you just steal Kat away from me?!" She asked a little freaked out and I looked at her dumbfounded. "Himiko... He didn't steal me away; you're still my best friend, you know." I said, and she looked at me with fake tears and then grinned like crazy. "I have to tell the other's about you two!" She yelled and ran out of the room. Exhausted, I turned back to Dabi and let my head rest on his chest as I felt his arms holding me close. "I could easily kill her, you know..." Dabi said and I looked up at him with a grin and shook my head. "No, no. Let her be." I said and closed my eyes again.
