We then just followed the man through the city; I must say it's empty; no one's here. "I see. This whole city..." Shigaraki said. "That's right." The man said, and we came ot a stop. "This is Deika City. Where 90% of the population consists of dormant liberation worriors. Thank you for coming so far to see us. Today is a day to celebrate You are the guest of hornor!" A man in a welldressed suit spoke. "Isn't that Hanabata, from the hearts and mind party?" Shigaraki asked. "Is he important?" Spinner asked. "Now...Let us begin...the Meta Liberation Army revival party!" The man said and snipped his finger. Suddenly, many, many people with quirks started to attack us.
"They seriously have 110,000!" Compress yelled. "It doesn't matter! We're here! Where is Giran?!" Twice yelled. "If you're talking about the broker, he's waiting over there with our grand commander." The man said and pointed to a tower. "Didn't you said, you'd give him back if we came, Tiny Banf?!" Twice asked annoyed but then a stone hit his head, and he went back to fighting.
The chaos around us was intense, but I felt an odd calm settle over me. This was the moment I'd been training for—the time to use my new powers.
I dodged a blast of fire from one of the Liberation fighters and lunged at him, grabbing his arm before he could retaliate. My palm made contact with his skin, and I focused, activating my quirk. A sharp jolt ran through my hand as I reversed the usual effect of my ability. Instead of healing, I poured pain into him.
The man's eyes widened in shock as he dropped to the ground, writhing in agony. The sensation of causing pain felt strange, but it also made me feel powerful. With a flick of my wrist, I released him, leaving him incapacitated.
"Nice one, Katsu," Dabi called out, glancing over at me as he launched a stream of blue flames toward another group of attackers. His praise was brief, but I caught the smirk on his face before he turned his attention back to the fight.
I grinned, feeling a surge of confidence. This was working.
A few Liberation warriors rushed me at once, thinking I was vulnerable. But I was faster. I weaved between them, grabbing one by the wrist and twisting his arm behind him, my quirk surging again. He screamed in pain.
Toga, who was slashing through enemies nearby, gave me a quick, approving glance. "You're stronger than before, Katsu! Love it!" she called, twirling with a wild smile as she stabbed her knife into another fighter.
"Thanks!" I yelled back, but there was no time to dwell on it.
Another group of warriors came at me—this time, a man with metal spikes growing from his arms. I dodged his first strike and darted in, laying my hand on his shoulder. For a second, I felt the familiar warmth of healing flow through me, but then I flipped it. Pain shot through him, and his legs buckled under the force of it. He fell to the ground, groaning as the spikes retracted into his arms.
It was exhilarating, and with each fight, I grew more confident in my control of the new aspect of my quirk.
The others were handling themselves well too. Shigaraki had already reduced part of a building to dust with his decay, and Spinner was holding his own against a wave of fighters, swinging his sword with brutal precision.
But it was clear that the Liberation Army wasn't going to make this easy. More and more fighters kept coming, their numbers seemingly endless. They were well-trained, coordinated, and relentless in their attack.
I took a breath, scanning the area. Shigaraki had moved ahead, cutting a path toward the tower where Giran was being held. We needed to push forward, and fast.
Just as I was about to move, I felt a hand grab my arm. I spun around to see a woman with sharp claws extending from her fingers, her eyes glowing with a fierce determination. Before I could react, she slashed at me, tearing through the sleeve of my jacket.
I winced but didn't back down. Instead, I grabbed her wrist, channeling my quirk into her. She gasped as the pain hit her like a wave, her grip weakening. But she was stronger than the others—I could feel her resisting.
I gritted my teeth and pushed harder. The pain surged through her, and finally, she let out a scream and collapsed to her knees.
"That's enough for you," I muttered, stepping away from her as she crumpled to the ground, clutching her arm.
I was breathing hard now, but I felt stronger, more in control. The training had paid off, and now, I was more than just the girl who could heal—I could fight.
After I finally knocked them out I made my way back to Dabi and Compress. Dabi was just fighting an Ice man. "Your power and the situation don't match. The ice is almost all gone." Dabi said with a grin. And Compress was being attacked by many more people. "If you've got a free hand, then help out over here!" Compress yelled. "Why do I have to help you?" Dabi asked, and playfully, I slapped his arm. "Isn't that kind of cold?! Katsu! You say something to your boyfriend!" Compress yelled. "I'm saying you should ask those guys." Dabi said, and behind us there were hundrets of Twices. "Oh my god," I said. "Dabi! Compress! Katsu! The Twices are here to the rescue! Toga's gonna die! Are you alright!?" They all yelled, and I was very confused. "What!?" I yelled out. "Wait, what about your trauma?" Compress asked, since Twice never could have doubles of himself because of personal issues. "Love and courage fixed everything!" He yelled, and I laughed at him. "So typicall!" I said and grinned happily. "I don't really get it but it's like the first episode of a hero story, huh? You're a villain!" Compress yelled, and I grinned harder. "Let's go now!" I yelled and pulled Dabi after me as we ran with the Twices.
