(Male robin) ———1 week later and 1 week until college starts——————
Robin pov:
Im going into college with barely a friend... WHY AM I SO FUCKING STUPID I slam my head against the steering wheel, making sure to not hit the horn.College college college. I get to see my college dorms today. College college college can't wait... roommate roomate roomate I wanna kill myself. (Robin will not be killing himself in this series 👍🏿)
What if they hate me? What if they're gross? What if they smell? What if they think I smell? What if they're homophobic? What if? What if? What if?
The "what ifs" get jumbled in my mind consuming my thoughts.
What if? What if? What if? Wha-? I'm pulled out of it when I hear joking from the car behind me; the light has turned green as it's my turn to go.
I get onto the highway from there; route one, exit..? I check my phone; exit 56.
I stay extra focused on driving not wanting to get lost in my thoughts and crash, or worse miss the exit and have to turn back around like an idiot.
I keep the what ifs out of my mind until I take the exit and see the campus; it's beautiful, it's giant, it's old fashioned, what else could you expect from Harvard. I find a place to park pretty close to the dorms, since not many people are here.
I take only two bags up to my dorm for the first trip; I had picked up the key a few days before so when I got there I opened the door straight away and looked at the room.
Its beautiful. I can feel the corners off my mouth tug up as I stare at the room in awe; my feet glued to the floor at the doorframe where I stand. 4 doors in the dorm, the kitchen/living space where I stand. There's a big window on the wall across from me, my eyes glued to it; I have to pry them away to look at the couch, it's a soft gray with enough seating for 7 maybe 8 people.
I try to move but my body is basically frozen from joy, I only manage to move my head to face the side where the kitchen is, there's a microwave and a coffee machine along with a fridge and freezer. The table is made from a beautiful wood.
I can't wait to cock something in there. I can't wait to watch something at that table air on the couch. I can't wait to relax on the couch and read on my days off. I can't wait to grow a plant or two by the window, that is if my roommate doesn't mind. My roommate....
I don't think they're here yet.
I finally move my feet into another room, the bedroom on the left side of the dorm, it's the smaller of the two rooms.
I'll take this one so my roommate won't hate me t

Jessica's pov:
Mia pulled up to the motel we'd be staying at, it surprisingly didn't look that bad.
Mia brought up both of our bags while I carried the dominos pizza. When we went in, it was a little nicer than the outside, tv, bathroom, no bugs or rats, microwave and mini fridge, 1 bed. We always get 1 bed rooms to save money.
Miami ate most of the pizza, I just got a slice or two but that's enough. After brushing our teeth we cuddled up on the bed together, never quite spooning never not.
—————————-some point that night————————
It's cold, it's dark, I can't breathe, my heart is racing, I'm suffocating.
I'm burning up, the darkness is to bright, I'm hyperventilating, my hearts stopped, I'm falling.
No i'm drowning.
I wake up, I keep my eyes shut tight as I move closer to Mia. Mia's my rock, but in water a rock will only make you drown.
