Meanwhile, Jungkook’s gang was just as dumbfounded. Kai and Baekhyun exchanged bewildered glances, both of them looking like they had just been hit with a brick. It seems it's always them being dumb of any situation at any time.

"Did we miss something?" Baekhyun asked, scratching his head in confusion.

Kai shrugged, equally perplexed. "I have no idea… but this is weird, even for Jungkook."

Jennie and Lisa, who usually prided themselves on being in the know about everything going on with Jungkook, were equally thrown off. They exchanged irritated looks, both of them clearly annoyed by the bizarre turn of events.

"What the hell is he doing?" Jennie muttered, her brows furrowing in frustration.

Lisa shook her head, her arms crossed over her chest. "Chasing after that bitch like that… does JK even realize how ridiculous he looks? Like he never runs for me."

Jennie sighed, clearly fed up with the situation. "We can only keeo dreaming. Anyway what's actually did this Jin do to JK?"

Meanwhile, Yoongi remained as calm as ever, leaning casually against the wall with a resigned expression on his face. He watched the spectacle with a heavy sigh, silently praying that Jungkook wouldn’t go too far with whatever he had planned.

"Please don’t overdo it, Jungkook," Yoongi muttered under his breath, already bracing himself for whatever trouble was bound to follow.

As Jungkook continued to close the gap between him and Jin, the rest of the students looked on in utter shock, their whispers and murmurs filling the hallway. No one had ever seen Jungkook act this way, and the sight of the school’s coldest, most intimidating figure chasing after Jin like an excited puppy was something that would be burned into their memories forever.

Finally, with Jin panting heavily and barely managing to keep ahead, Jungkook shouted out again, his voice filled with amusement. "Jin, stop running! You’ll wear yourself out!"

"Why me? Why now?" Jin groaned internally, cursing his bad luck as he run more, nor caring about his poor legs.

However, he had to finally slowed to a stop, his legs feeling like jelly as he hunched over in the middle of an empty hallway, desperately trying to catch his breath. His chest heaved as he inhaled deeply, sweat trickling down his temples. He had no idea where he’d ended up after running blindly through the school, and at this point, he didn’t care. All he wanted was to escape Jungkook’s relentless pursuit.

But when he glanced over his shoulder, he saw Jungkook still approaching, looking as fresh as ever. There wasn’t a trace of exhaustion on his face, and that smile—the smile that had everyone at school trembling—was now directed solely at Jin. It wasn’t just any smile, either; it was a smile that held a mix of adoration and something more… something that sent shivers down Jin’s spine.

Why does...EVERYTHING FEELS SO HOT?

Jin gulped, his heart pounding in his chest, not just from the run but from the way Jungkook’s eyes were fixed on him. There was a glint in those eyes that made Jin’s nerves tingle, a look that spoke volumes about the dangerous thoughts running through Jungkook’s mind. It was as if Jungkook saw him as a treasure, something precious he wanted to keep all to himself—and perhaps devour.

"Yah, don’t come near or—or I’ll beat you!" Jin stammered as he raised his fists in front of him in a shaky boxing pose, his voice wavering as he tried to sound tough. But the truth was, his hands were trembling, and he knew that if Jungkook really wanted to come closer, there was nothing he could do to stop him.

Jungkook’s smile only widened at the sight of Jin’s weak attempt at self-defense. He slowed his pace, but he didn’t stop. Instead, he leaned against the wall, tilting his head as he gazed at Jin with that same intense look.
