Chapter 24: His pov

Agon's POV

"STOP messing with her," I warned.

Raji chuckled. "Bro, I didn't. I have someone, don't misinterpret my actions." Raji tap my shoulders but I shrugged it off.

"T'ss."

Pansin ko ang pag-iling niya. "Stupid," he commented. Nagpandikwatro pa habang nakaupo.

I raised my brow. "Fuck off."

As I stared at the monitor, Jeykcil been having a good progress. Mabilis turuan, mabilis makaisip ng mga taktika para sa labanan. I didn't expect that she's good in fighting. Just a little guide to her, she fights like she owned the battlefield.

"Tell Ardeen and Nick that don't be too hard on her. I know what they will do to her. Tsk."

"You better be honest with me bro. No denying. Just a simple yes or no." Umayos siya ng upo, hindi inintindi ang sinabi ko.

"Spit it," I said without looking at his direction.

"Do you like Jeyk?" he asked out of nowhere.

I paused for a moment watching the monitor as I glaced at Raji, without hesitation, I answered, "Yes."

"Then tell her," utos niya.

"No," I plainly said.

"And why is that?"  he raised his brows.

Hindi ko siya sinagot at tinuon ang atensyon ulit kay Jeyk.

As I watched Jeyk, drenched and heavily breathing while throwing punches and kicks at Ardeen, I felt proud on how she can withstand Nick's strict training.

"That's all you got?" I heard Nick challenge her on the monitor.

"Pinagkatutuwaan talaga siya ni Nick, huh?" Raji chuckled and stood besides me, not minding his question awhile ago.

Alam kong alam niya kung bakit.

"Did he even listened to what I said?" naiinis na komento ko habang pinapanood silang dalawa sa monitor.

I press a button connected to his earpiece.

"Don't be too hard on her," diin ko

"You know Nick too well, he's enjoying the training. He wants you to get pissed," tawa pa ni Raji.

"That jackass!" I clenched my jaw.

"Be more careful with your blind spot, babe. Enemy will took chances if they have. Get your weapon. Highten your senses all the time. Collaborate it with your move. You can't use your eyes all the time, don't be too dependent in your sight. You have your hearing and feeling senses."

"Got it!"

Jeyk nodded and picked her weapon on the floor. He attacked Nick with a quick and controlled strike.

"I hated it how Nick smiled on Jeyk," gigil na saad ko at lalong tumawa si Raji.

"Bro, relax, Nick's training her. Jeyk is all yours. Walang mang-aagaw ng mga bagay para sa 'yo," natatawang pahayag niya.

Of course! Jeyk is all mine, only mine.

"Good. Disarm me if you can. Let’s see how you handle this," Nick said, swinging the sword towards Jeyk's head.

She ducked and immediately countered with a kick aimed at his knee but blocked it and attacked her again. Jeyk leaped back and dodge another attack coming from Nick.

How can she disarmn Nick? Let's see then.

Pinanood namin ni Raji ng maigi kung ano ang gagawin niya. They attacked and defend for a minute when Jeyk did something to disarm Nick.

"Got yah. You loose, sucker!"

"Woah! That was cool. Did you see that?" Raji was amazed and faced me.

I can't help but smile for what I saw. "She's really indeed amazing. She needs to learn to fight."

"You know what, you could let her know that you're proud of her progress."

"She doesn't need to know that."

"Psh! The famous Agon Levitico Del Vecho will always take a hundred of bullets rather than confessing his feelings. Tsk, tsk, tsk. What a sucker."

Matalim ko siyang tinitigan pero hindi 'yon naging dahilan para tumigil siya kaaasar.

"You're just fooling yourself, bro. We know you too well. Even our men, noticed it, even Levin asked us about you. The way you look at Jeyk, the way you make sure our men are guarding her 24/7, the way you've taken down some our enemies threatening her safety. Tsk, tsk."

My expression hardened and turned my back at Raji. "It's my responsibility to protect her because she's in my house."

As I left the room, narinig ko pa ang pahabol ni Raji. "You're doing more than that. Better confess what you feel before it's too late."

"WHAT'S that?" I asked Raji, holding a black box with a dead cat inside it.

"A threat. . .again."

"Oh! Another love letter from our enemy," Nick clapped his hands.

Ardeen read the letter in front of us. "Ew! Jandron's penmaship really sucks! Hmm. . . let me see. . . Brace urself, we will kill u & that grl!" Ardeen burst into laughing. "Look at this! Jejemon ang gago!"

He showed us the letter and Nick laughed too. "Panget na nga ang mukha, panget pa ng spelling, at panget pa ng penmanship!"

These two idiots.

"Itapon niyo na 'yan bago pa makita ni Jeykcil 'yan," utos ko. I glanced at Nick. "Nick, asked our men to put that crying lady in Jeyk's room."

"What?!"

"Are you deaf now?"

"Pinaghirapan namin 'yan makuha ni Ards! We almost lost our handsome face with that!"

"And?" Kinasa ko ang baril na nasa mesa.

"Sabi ko nga ilalagay na sa kwarto ni Jek-Jek."
