Except for the 8 who were calm as the ocean, rest all were in state of panic. But, apart from Elijah, the rest 7 had no idea of who he was. They all believed it to be Taehyung in disguise.
But when the guy walked past them and went straight to Elijah, the other 7 were quite shocked. The man was tall, handsome, well built and with a few scratches on his face. But still looked handsome as hell.
"Hello, and welcome to hell all of you.." The man said taking the mic from Elijah, who stepped down and sat besides the 7.
"Get them back to their seats, now. Blow them, if they don't understand." He said and then proceeded to pay respects at the grave.
He did a low bow and then carefully placed a red rose on the grave. He stood there for a while before finally stepping on the podium and to everyone's surprise, all those who had ran, were now in their respective places.
"My name is Lee Dong-min. Tae was my best friend. Nah, not best friend, he was my brother. My only family. When I first heard he was dead, I couldn't believe my ears. I called Elijah and when he confirmed it to be true, I felt my world crashing and time stuck in that moment." Lee Dong-min said and then wiped a tear away.
When he looked up again, his eyes were dark and his face red. He grabbed the podium hard with his hands as if he was trying to keep his demons from surfacing. He wasn't a simple man.
All the 7 looked at Elijah and Jungkook was the first to ask, "Where is Taehyung?" He whispered low only for Elijah to hear, but Elijah didn't reply. He just patted Jungkook's hand and smiled. Jungkook knew better to keep quiet now.
"But as soon as I land, what do I see? Some sh!tholes insulting my brother-in-law and Elijah. My brother's dead and people dared to make a scene at his funeral. Aish!!" He said his voice trembling with anger.
"Okay, let's get to the point now. There will be no separate mafia leaders. There will be but one. And that's ME. The Supreme Lord of Mafia, Lee. Dong. Min." And having done with that declaration, he walked down and went to where the 8 were sitting.
Lee Dong-min stood in front of Elijah and then they both hugged.
"Thanks for coming back. He knew you would agree, even though you rejected him so many times." Elijah said patting Dong-min's back.
Dong-min didn't bother greeting others. Instead he whispered something to Elijah and left the scene. All the 7 turned to look at Elijah and he knew he couldn't break his promise to Taehyung, so he too, walked out of the place.
"Who is this man? Does anyone know him? Tae had a brother, a best friend, other than Bogum? Did anyone know about this? Did you know about this Bogum? Jimin?" Jungkook asked and no one had answers.
Meanwhile, thinking back to why Taehyung hadn't consulted Bogum before making this move, now seemed clear to Bogum. Although he kept a straight face, he mentally smirked and complimented Taehyung.
"Well done, Kim Taehyung. You already had a back up plan ready. No wonder, you called me back. You knew I would understand. And good for you Lee Dong-min, you dog, you acted like you didn't know me just now. Wait till I get catch you alone..."
Lee Dong-min was a mutual friend of Taehyung and Bogum. Just like how Bogum played his part when he was needed the most, it was now time for Dong-min to play his part. All three were school friends and equally powerful.
You could say, if Bogum was Taehyung's right hand, then Dong-min was his left. Bogum and Dong-min were like two sides of same coin. But here, if Bogum was a hunter, then Dong-min was a monster.
