So first of all, credits to the owner of this image @taeikookrs, found it on Pinterest  and it suited the best for His Majesty's story to begin with.. 

Are we wondering, what happened at The JEON Mansion during those 5 years when Taehyung went into hiding? We are, right?? So here we go.. 

Five years ago.....

JUNGKOOK'S POV:

Tae left for the Dragon's Lair, as suggested by Elijah.

"Young Master, please, don't be so stubborn and bent on revenging. We need you, the people need you. Death is inevitable. But we can't forget those living. Your father in heaven will be sad to see you like this. So please, come with us. I will take care of things here. I promise." Elijah calmly tried to make Tae understand.

I walked around Elijah and went to Tae's side. I hugged him and patted his head. 

"You know Elijah is right, right? I promise, I will help him with everything possible to sort things out here. Go, okay?" I spoke to him and his body instantly stiffened at the word Go.

"No, I am not pushing you away, it's for your safety. Unless you want to see your parent's hard work go down the drain, you can stay here. Or you can go with them, and we will save all that we can save. I promise, Tae. I need you. We need you. So be safe. Okay?" I literally begged him.

"Okay." Was all he said before he left without looking back or around at all of us who atleast expected a look from him.

"Elijah, please-" 

"I will, with my life." He replied as if he understood and then everybody left leaving just us around.

I couldn't handle all that had happened and I finally found myself stumbling, but Suga hyung was quick to hold me. 

"Jungkook-ah..." Suga hyung said while helping me sit on the bed, which stopped everyone from going out.

"What is it? Kookie?" Hobi hyung sat in front of me and patted my head.

"Just.. " I said and looked in the direction of the door. 

They understood.. All understood.

"JK, I know you're surprised by the fact that Taehyung is the Dragon Lord and yes, you are right. He is. There is a reason why it had to be kept from you and not just you, from everyone. Also, gather yourself. We have a lot to do. We need you. I need you." Jin hyung said to me giving me a little comfort.

"Come on, mate. You are JK. Like f*cking JK. The world right now trembles at your mention. Just like how they almost die on hearing "Hunters". Oh yeah, Bogum." Namjoon said and sighed.

Yeah, we lost our best and strongest ally. Also Tae's aunt, Yoona. The funerals were yet to be held. They were yet to be buried. 

Some footsteps. Running. All eyes and attention to the door. 

"Hyung, hyung, Jimin hyung, he.. he's awake. Come. Quick." Soobin said panting and we at once ran down.

"Ahh..." all sighed in unison and when we realised, we all laughed.

"Jimin-ah, you're awake. Good." Namjoon hyung said taking a seat besides him.

"Jimin-shi, how are you feeling now?" I asked him and he nodded.

"I am a bit fine. In pain, too much pain, honestly." He replied with a small smile.

"Of course, you were shot. A f*cking bullet went in you. You will be in pain." Jin hyung yelled at him.

"I only prayed that you don't die on me. Do you even know how scared that kid was.." Jin hyung said again, this time while pointing to Soobin.

Soobin. He was adorable. He was a genius. Being so young, and already assisted Tae's aunt, then became Tae's assistant. He can be of good use to us, to get back everything on track. I didn't have any assistant.

"JK, what are you thinking?" Jimin asked me and brought me back to earth.

"Ah, nothing. I just... " I said and turned to Soobin.

"Soobin, do you want to be my assistant and help me? I don't see a reason for you to decline my offer. But, of course, you can say no." I offered him and everybody was stunned to speak anything.

"I will. I will for sure. Taehyung hyung was right. You did ask me, finally." Soobin replied, but I was shocked myself at what he said.

"Tae, Taehyung told you?" Jin hyung asked him and he nodded.

"Yes, just before leaving, Taehyung hyung came down to see Jimin hyung. But Jimin hyung wasn't awake then. He said if JK hyung offers to be his assistant, help him. After all, right now, I am the only person who know A to Z of The KIMS EMPIRE." Soobin said and others agreed, because he was.. The. Only. One.

"Okay, then. JK, Soobin, you guys can look after the business side, while me, Jin hyung and others will look after getting this whole mansion build up and get a whole new security system." Namjoon hyung suggested and we agreed. 

"And me? What do I do?" Jimin asked and Namjoon hyung smiled.

"You will help JK as well. But not now. Now you will rest until your stitches are out." Hyung told him, which he agreed. 

"Okay, so for now, whatever is left here, remains here. As for all of you, a place is being made at my Mansion while we speak. My men will be here soon. Suga hyung, can you take Jimin back first? Rest of us can first bury the dead. I know Taehyung would have wanted to give them all a good place to rest, so I have a place, it's my own. I bought it for some business not while ago. You can bury the dead there for now. And when we settle things at hand first, let's build around it so all the the dead members can be laid to rest there, though I hope nobody dies anymore. As for his aunt, we can, the family tomb, you know, besides his parents." I suggested and they all agreed. 

Elijah did give instructions for the burial and the funeral, but our priorities were same. TO PROTECT TAEHYUNG AT ALL COSTS.
