Karma Always Gets Back (3/3)

As soon as the members were in sight, Jungkook was the first person to run to Taehyung and pull him in a  hug. Taehyung stood still as his lover embraced him as if his life depended on it.

"I'm alright." Tae whispered low enough for Jungkook to hear, who nodded on the elder's shoulder.

Dong-min who was by Taehyung's side was not only surprised but also felt happy seeing that his friend was being loved so much. Jungkook noticing the eyes on him, looked towards him.

"Thank you." He mouthed the words and Dong-min gave him a smile and a nod.

Somebody cleared their throat and Jungkook left the hug and looked back. It was Suga. His most loved hyung after Hobi.

Jungkook scratched the back of his neck and then walked towards Suga, who pretended not to see him.

"Hyung, I'm glad you're safe and unhurt." Jungkook said but Suga decided to drag on for a bit.

"Hyung, stop it now." Jungkook said with a pout. And who could resist this baby boba ball!!!

Sugs gave in and hugged the younger patting his back. But then he got very serious.

"Boys, we have to move. Our next destination is here. The more quicker we move, the less chance we give Seojoon to hide. We can't let him go this time." He announced and the others agreed.

"Hyung, where is she?" Dong-min asked Jin who waa standing without saying a word with folded hands.

Hearing this everyone stopped and concentrated on Jin.

"Barely surviving.. Go in." Jin said and Dong-min and Taehyung ran in.

The girl, recognizing the voice, tried to sit up but hissed in pain while holding her chest. Dong-min quickly ran to her side and helped her sit up.

"Hey, you alright?" He asked and held her gently, not letting go till he was sure she was fine.

"Kang Min-ah, her name is Kang Min-ah." Jin told them and she barely managed to smile.

Dong-min was clearly in love with this girl. But what was so special about her?

Was it sympathy disguised as love? Was it pity disguised as love? Would his feelings be the same if it had to be some other girl in her place?

Question after question bombarded in his mind and his heart was distressed. But finally he took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment and then looked straight in Min-ah's eyes.

"You know me, right?" He asked and tears formed in her eyes, which was a clear indication that she agreed.

Everybody looked between Dong-min and Min-ah. Nobody understood what happened? And why had he asked her such question?

"You.. remember me?" She asked with much difficulty and Dong-min nodded.

"I did when I first saw you. But I didn't believe it at first, until I saw that tattoo of my name on your back while covering you with my coat. So, when your parents said you got married, you were actually taken away by these people. And they threatened not to tell anyone. Am I right?" Dong-moin asked and she nodded.

Unable to move, but still she tried to move close until she could rest her head on Dong-min's chest. Dong-min's eyes changed to more darker shade of black like the depths of hell. Tears filled his eyes and he shut them tight. His whole body was trembling along with the sobs of Min-ah. He slowly lifted his handd and held her as gently as possible with the fear of causing her more pain.

"I thought you cheated, that you never loved me. I'm... I'm so sorry. I should've looked for you. I should've trusted you a bit more. I was hurt. But I never could've imagined anything like this happening to you. To the one who was my whole world, my everything." He confessed resting his own head on hers.
