See You One Last Time

After Jungkook was sent to his room wuth Hobi, the rest members arranged for coffins for the loved ones who would never come back now.

Namjoon was having a hard time, as well as Suga and Hobi. But Hobi had no choice but to forget his pain and tend to Jungkook was his baby brother. Suga and Namjoon comforted each other and made sure everything was done very respectfully.

While in between of all the stuff, Namjoon got a call. It was Jimin from the hospital. He hurriedly answered the call.  "Tell me it worked, please." He pleaded.

"Yes it did, his body is responding to the antidote. He should be awake soon, not fully sure, but yes." Jimin assured the worried Namjoon, whose sigh could be heard on the other side.

"Hyung, how is Jungkook. I feel so bad for him. He.. He's got nothing now. And Elijah is already making preparations to take Tae to the lair as soon as he wakes up. At least he should be told about him, so he doesn't lose hope. At least he can see him before Tae is taken there." Jimin told Namjoon who pinched the bridge of his nose.

Suga noticed Namjoon and giving his orders to the men, he went to him and patted his back. "What is it? Is Taehyung okay?" Suga asked with his fingers crossed at the back.

Please say he's fine. Jungkook can't lose him as well. Suga mentally pleaded.

"He's responding to the antidote, hyung. Just that, as Taehyung had ordered Elijah to take him to the lair before going unconscious, Elijah has prepared to take him. Do you think we should let Jungkook see him once or atleast ask if he wants to see him before Tae leaves here??" Namjoon asked and Suga sighed too.

All knew how difficult it was to talk to Jungkook now. After all he had lost everything (except for Tae, and the others who considered him family).

"Okay, I will speak to him. Just let Elijah know, not to hurry. Or I will..." Suga stopped.

"I promise." Namjoon assured and then he spoke to Jimin as Suga left. "Please, you heard him." Namjoon pleaded again.
"I will." Jimin replied before leaving.

Meanwhile in Jungkook's room...

"How's he doing?" Suga asked Hobi who just shook his head.

"Okay." Suga whispered and looked at Jungkook who was standing at the window and spaced out.

"Kookie," Suga almost whispered, but loud enough for Jungkook to hear him, while placing a hand around his shoulders, almost side hugging him.

"Hyung, is Tae okay?" He asked without looking at Suga. "Yes, the antidote worked. He's responding to it. He should be awake soon. And you know whom he's gona ask the moment he opens his eyes." Suga told him and Jungkook turned to face Suga.

"I can't see him like this. I really can't. I will break down once I see him. You know that." He said gulping down the sob.

"I know," Suga whispered. "But as he ordered, Elijah is all prepared to take him back to the lair the next moment he wakes up. Don't you wana see him before that?" Suga asked waiting patiently for Jungkook to process what he had said.

"Can I go see him now, before he wakes up? Also can we not tell him about me and my family until he is well, please promise me?" Jungkook let his tears flow.

"Yeah. I promise." Suga wiped his tears and hugged him patting his head.

"Wash your face, go and please, change the clothes, you can't be seen like this. I will wait for you at the gate. Okay?" Suga asked cupping his cheeks and Jungkook nodded.

"Hobi, get him down once he's ready." Suga told him and left.

He saw Namjoon moving the final coffin and he walked up to him. "He's ready. But has a condition, not to tell Tae about all this until he is well and he will see him now before Tae is awake." Suga told him.

"Yeah, done. That's fine too. As long as he knows he still has Tae and he is fine. I will let them know at the hospital and also get the security increased." Namjoon replied.

"Alright everyone, Jungkook is going to come down. Nobody, nobody will say a single word to him. Pretend you didn't see him and continue your work. Just till he is back. Okay? I know you're worried, but we have to give him a reason to stay strong and that very reason is Kim Taehyung. Okay?" Suga asked and all just nodded.

Not long after he was gone to get the car,  Jungkook came down wearing a new shirt and hairs messed up and still wet. His eyes were bawled out so he wore glasses. He still looked handsome.

Jungkook did notice the silence and paused in his steps looking around. No one looked at him and pretended to do their work. Of course, Jungkook was JK as well. He knew his men better than anyone.

He cleared his throat, "Thank you," was all he said in a low voice enough to let everyone hear and walked out without looking back. Not a single eye was left without a tear.

Suga was waiting for him at the gate. He got on to the back seat and moved ahead for Hobi to get in. But instead, "Jungkook, go with hyung, okay. I will stay back and help them. We need at least one of us to stay there till the end. Don't worry about here. Okay?" Hobi calmly told him and Jungkook nodded without a word.

Suga drove off and there were his guards escorting him. When he reached the hospital, a bunch of reporters swarmed at him, but his guards were quick enough and the police set up the barricades to stop them.

Suga guided Jungkook to the VIP Room where Taehyung was moved giving him the antidote. There were guards lined up. And not just the guards. There were his friends too.

Jimin saw a bunch of people walking and he got up. He saw Suga first, but then as Suga moved aside, he saw Jungkook. He ran to Jungkook engulfing him in a hug. Jungkook didn't hesitate a bit before hugging Jimin back.

"I'm sorry, sorry we couldn't be there oj time. But you don't think you have lost everything. You have us, your family. Okay?" Jimin said while sobbing himself.

"Go, see him. I know and I agree with your request. I will make sure and I promise no one will tell him about you or your family until he is fully well." Jimin assured him and then led him to the door.

Jungkook nodded before entering the door. Suga stood outside and then he hugged Jimin hard as if his life depended on it. He saw Jackson and then gave him a hug too.

"I'm sorry, we couldn't save Wonho or Hyungwon." Suga apologized and Jackson just shook his head, tears falling.

"Yoongi, you..." Jin asked who came in there and Suga nodded.

"Hyung, Jungkook is here. Inside." He told and Jin said nothing but  turned around and opened the door slightly to see Jungkook standing a few steps away from the bed and staring at his loved one who was lying in bed.
