Chapter 31
Alexis and Enzo walked back to the common room together contemplating their tea leaves. Enzo looked over at Alexis and they finally got to the main floor, "I guess with You-Know-Who back none of us could really expect to have a happy prediction."
"No, but having hope for a happy future isn't a bad thing. I mean I'm pretty sure who my deadly enemy is but why would he be concerned about me? And if it isn't him, who else could the leaves be referring to?" She rubbed her temples feeling a familiar ache building in her head.
"Do you ever see your own future, Alex? Or is it just other people?" Enzo had never asked much about her visions. He knew they were usually something horrible and that they left her feeling hopeless.
"I've only seen myself in two visions, the one where I decide the fate of the world and the other where I saw Draco and I happy with a couple of kids. But no usually I see others in their worst moments. Either in torture or death and I can usually feel what they experience," Alex looked at Enzo with a sad smile.
Enzo hated seeing her hurting and put an arm around her shoulders as they continued in silence until they got to the common room.
There was absolute chaos as the two stepped through to door. Mattheo and Blaise were in the center of an all-out brawl with Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle and oddly enough they were holding their own against the three other boys.
Flames flared out around her as she screamed at them, "Enough!" The flames shot out knocking all of them to the floor, "What the hell is going on here?"
**Earlier with Draco**
Draco sat back with Crabbe and Goyle, enjoying their first free period of the term. Chatting about their summers and how hard their N.E.W.T classes were going to be. When Mattheo came strutting down the stairs with Blaise.
Mattheo's words were hard to make out at first but it didn't take long for Draco to understand what he was saying, "I don't think it will take long for her to come running back. She wants me in a way Draco can't understand. I'm sure I can convince her she wants me again."
Draco felt like a tidal wave was building inside him as his anger grew white hot in a matter of seconds. He stormed over smacking Mattheo in the chest, "You don't get to talk about her Riddle, I won't say again. So keep her name out of your mouth."
"Oh, so I can't say how much she enjoyed being with me? Kissing me and sleeping with me? Did she tell you about our special night in the Astronomy tower? What's wrong Draco, you don't want to hear how happy your girlfriend was with me? Because she was you know, happier with me. I gave her things you could never give her, what can you do for her?" Mattheo's cruel grin as he got in Draco's face pushing him toward his boiling point.
"Fuck you, Riddle, she chose me. She wants me. I make her happy and I am keeping her safe, from you and what we both know you are capable of. What makes you think she would ever want you again after what you did to me?" Draco spat back at him trying his best not to let his anger get the best of him.
"My father knows about everything and he wants her. Who do you think is going to swoop in and save her when that happens? News flash it won't be you," Mattheo smiled as he whispered the last part just to Draco.
That was all it took for the last of Draco's patience to disappear as his fist connected with Mattheo's face. Blaise and Mattheo were rushed by Crabbe and Goyle as Mattheo fought his way back to Draco. The two boys charged at each other doing their best to bloody the other when a voice echoed through the room, "Enough!," and a wave of green energy knocked them all down.
Alexis stormed over with Enzo following right behind, "What the hell is going on here?" Alexis for once towered over all of the boys who were currently fighting to stand back up.
