Chapter 23

"What are you doing here?!" I said annoyed.

"I need to apologize. I want to talk. I wont leave until you say you will,"

"Okay. YOU WILL not talk to me. There happy?" I said walking away.

He caught up to me.

"You know that's not what I meant."

I ignored him and kept walking until I reached the team.

"Sorry I took so long guys."

"Its fine we were just about to end practice right now." Abigail said.

"Okay." I said.

Spencer was still next to me.

"Hey Abigail." Spencer said.

She just shot him a disgusted look.

I walked back to the side lines to get my stuff. Again Spencer was following me.

"Can you be anymore stalkerish." I said focusing ahead of me.

"I just want to talk."

I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder.

"What?" i said turning to him annoyed.

" I guess I should start with saying I'm sorry. I just flipped. The thought of you with another guy made me crazy. That day when I got home I did some serious thinking. My mind was exploding questions. But one in particular, why him? Well after thinking for what seemed like forever. I thought I have always been chasing you telling you to give me a second chance. But I never listened to what you said. All this time I've chasing you when you didn't want to be chased. Then you met Shawn. Of course it hurt me, but I realized something. I have never seen you so happy before. Even when you were with me. I could never make you that happy. You found the person you wanted to be with the rest of your life. Its Shawn not me. It took some time to take that in. But now I just want you to be happy. I still love you. I will always love you. That's why i'm going to let you go. I stood there Shocked and surprised.

"Spencer, t-thank you." I said pulling him into a hug.

" No problem." he said.

We pulled back from the hug.

"Want to hang out?" He asked.

I knew he wouldn't try anything.

"Actually I would."

Spencer and I sat at my house watching Catfish. Suddenly Cam and Nash ran in and changed the channel. Live With Kelly And Micheal was on.

"Why are we watching Kelly And Micheal?" I said with a chuckle.

"Just watch." Cam said with a huge smile on his face.

Kelly was talking so I listened.

"3 weeks ago a teenage boy, A part of Magcon, posted a You Tube video to a song he had handwritten. He is in New York City recording his EP with Island Records. Now he is here with us to Sing One of his new songs on his EP exclusively for us."

"Without further A do, Here is Shawn Mendes!" Micheal said.

The crowd cheered. And the camera's turned to Shawn on stage with his guitar. I caught myself smiling. He strummed his guitar and started singing. I expected him to sing Life Of The Party, but he sang something completely different. Something I never heard before.

When he finished everyone cheered. Kelly started asking questions.

"First off describe what this song means. Because obviously everyone loved it . and you must have really spent time and thought on this song."

"This song Is called Never Be Alone. And what is basically saying is know matter where in the world, even if your a million miles apart, times will get tough, but no matter what You'll Never Be Alone."

"Shawn i'm sensing, that someone inspired you to write this. Is there a special someone out there?" Michael asked.

Shawn blushed. I felt a tear slip out of my eye.

"Actually, Yeah."

Oohs and ahs filled the crowd.

"And what do you wan't to say to this person?" Kelly asked.

"well i mostly covered it up in the song and that is, I know i can't be there right now, But your not alone and i will be with you soon. I promise."

Awes filled the crowd.

"this person must be really special." Michael said

"Words can not describe how much she means to me."

"Am I hearing you have a girl in your life," Kelly said.

"A very special girl ." Shawn said with a smile

" She is very lucky." Kelly said.

With that the show ended. I didn't noticed i was crying until I zoned out of the tv. Cam stood there smiling at me. I looked over at Spencer Who was doing the same.

"I told you no one can make you feel the way Shawn makes you feel." Spencer said.

My phone rang. It was Shawn. I immeadiatly picked it up.

"So did you see?!" Shawn asked excitedly.

"Yes! I loved it so much. Was that really for me."

"Yeah. I wanted to show you how much I missed you."

"i think you showed it in a pretty big way. I miss you too, Shawn."

" I know I promise ill be with you soon. but right now I have to say hi to some fans. ill call you later Love you."

"Love you too."

after i said that i hung up.

I went on Instagram and saw Shawn tagged me in a photo. It was a video of him singing Never Be Alone on Live with Kelly and Micheal. Soon after I started getting loads of notifications. like, I ship Shawn And Skyler, The perfect couple, #Shyler ect. It all just made me smile that people supported us.
