Wooyoung grinned at himself in the mirror, adjusting his pirate hat just right and running a hand through his tousled hair. The costume fit almost too well—like it was made just for him.
The black tube top clung snugly to his chest, revealing just enough of his toned arms to look playful but flirtatious. The cropped brown v-neck shirt draped over it gave off that perfect, effortless vibe, baring just a glimpse of his waist whenever he shifted. His loose pants, with one leg long and the other cut short, fluttered slightly as he moved, the ribbons tied around the exposed leg swaying with him. Paired with the hat and a few touches of makeup that made his features pop—subtle shadows carved into his cheekbones and a hint of smudged eyeliner—Wooyoung looked like he'd just walked off the deck of some dangerous, seductive pirate ship.
He turned side to side, striking a few silly poses in the mirror. "Damn, I look good," he said with a wink at his reflection, flashing a grin.
Just as he started twirling dramatically in place, a soft thump sounded from the doorway. He glanced over and saw his cat, Shadow, leap gracefully onto the bed, meowing with what could only be described as princess-like impatience.
"Hi, Purrincess!" Wooyoung cooed, scooping the cat up into his arms. He peppered her little head with kisses as she purred happily, her fluffy tail flicking lazily against his wrist. "You approve, huh? Yeah, I knew you would."
He cuddled her for a moment longer before a familiar voice called from the other room.
"Babe, are you done? I wanna see you!" San's voice floated in, filled with impatience and a hint of eagerness.
Wooyoung's heart stuttered at the sound of that voice. "Almost!" he called back, reluctantly setting Shadow down. The cat gave him a slightly offended look before settling back into the pile of blankets, flicking her tail dramatically.
Wooyoung shot her a playful wink. "I'll be back, Your Highness." Then, with a little bounce in his step, he headed out of the room to find San.
The smell of freshly baked pumpkin pie filled the apartment as he made his way to the kitchen. San stood at the counter, carefully icing the last bit of pie with a focus that made Wooyoung's heart swell.
But then San was done, wiping his hands on a towel and turning around to face Wooyoung—and the second he did, Wooyoung's brain went blank.
San stood there, a knowing smirk on his lips, fully aware of what his costume was doing to Wooyoung. The pirate hat perched on his head was the same one as Wooyoung's, but the outfit, oh god.
The loose black v-neck shirt hung open just enough to reveal the sharp lines of his collarbone and a hint of his chest, as if San didn't care if the world saw. The sleeves had been torn off entirely, exposing his arms—strong, tanned, and flexed ever so slightly as he leaned against the counter. His brown pants clung just right, highlighting the cut of his hips and thighs, and a leather belt wrapped around his waist, with an old-fashioned sword hanging off the side like a final flourish.
Wooyoung stared, unable to stop himself. His mouth fell open, he could've sworn he was drooling. and his heart raced so fast he thought it might burst out of his chest.
"Oh." Wooyoung exhaled, dragging his gaze up and down San's body. "You were so right."
San's smirk deepened. "Told you you'd like it."
Wooyoung swallowed hard, feeling the heat crawl up the back of his neck. "Like it? I—" He shook his head, at a complete loss for words. "You look...I mean...holy fuck."
San chuckled, stepping closer, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Liking what you're seeing, I assume." he teased, leaning in just enough that Wooyoung could catch the faintest hint of his cologne—something warm and earthy that made Wooyoung's knees go weak.
