Chapter Seven: Stepping into the Spotlight
Jenna paced the living room, fussing with the skirt of her dark, elegant dress for what had to be the hundredth time. She and Y/N were both dressed to the nines, ready for the *Wednesday* premiere. But tonight wasn't just another event for them—this was the first time they'd be attending as an official couple, together and publicly. Jenna's excitement bubbled beneath her polished exterior, her cheeks slightly flushed as she glanced over at Y/N.
Y/N, who was adjusting his tie in the hallway mirror, caught her gaze and grinned. "You keep pacing, and you're going to wear out the carpet."
She rolled her eyes playfully. "I just can't believe it's finally here. And... well, this is kind of a big deal for us, you know?"
"Tell me about it," he agreed, stepping over to her and wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'm pretty sure the entire world is going to be watching tonight. But we're in this together, right?"
She nodded, resting her head against his chest and sighing, feeling a little calmer with his reassuring presence. "Together," she murmured, squeezing his hand.
The car ride to the premiere was filled with a mix of laughter and nervous energy. They chatted excitedly, both thrilled about reuniting with their castmates and sharing this special moment as a couple. Every so often, Y/N would squeeze her hand, grounding her, while she glanced out the window at the city lights flashing by, her mind racing.
When they arrived, the roar of the crowd and the bright lights snapped them into the reality of the evening. As they stepped onto the red carpet, camera flashes erupted around them, capturing every movement, every shared look, every laugh. Y/N instinctively reached for Jenna's hand, and she held on tightly, feeling both excited and safe.
Their fans, who had been following their journey since *Wednesday* first began filming, cheered them on, a mix of surprise and delight in their voices as they saw the two together.
As they made their way down the carpet, Jenna spotted Emma and Hunter waving them over, both looking equally glamorous and thrilled to see them. "Oh my gosh, you two look amazing!" Emma gushed, pulling Jenna into a tight hug.
"Same to you!" Jenna replied, beaming. "It's so good to see everyone again."
Hunter clapped Y/N on the back, grinning. "So you finally decided to make it official, huh? About time!"
Y/N laughed, shaking his head. "What can I say? We like to keep things interesting."
The cast spent the next several minutes catching up, laughing, and joking around, all of them clearly overjoyed to be together again. They shared stories from set, memories of long filming days, and, of course, teased each other about their characters. The cameras followed their every move, but it felt natural—it felt like a family reunion.
Eventually, they were called to make their way inside for the screening. Jenna and Y/N found their seats in the packed theater, sitting close with their hands entwined. As the lights dimmed and the familiar Addams Family theme filled the room, Jenna glanced over at Y/N, her heart full. This was their project, their journey, and they'd shared it from the very beginning.
When the episode started playing, the room erupted in laughter, gasps, and applause at all the right moments. Watching the finished product on the big screen was surreal, and every so often, Jenna would lean over to Y/N and whisper about a funny memory from set, unable to keep the smile off her face.
As the premiere concluded, the room filled with thunderous applause, and Jenna and Y/N joined the rest of the cast on stage for a Q&A session. The questions were lighthearted, covering everything from their characters to behind-the-scenes moments. Finally, a question from the audience turned to them as a couple.
