That evening, after dinner, Vox noticed Alastor had slipped away. He searched through the hotel, finally spotting a note attached to the vintage radio beside the TV. The note read, *"Tune in, 8pm sharp,"* with a small heart scribbled beneath it. Vox glanced at his watch—it was 7:59.

Settling in front of the radio, Vox tuned in right on time, and Alastor's smooth voice came through the crackling airwaves.

"*And that was 'Poisoning Pigeons in the Park' by Tom Lehrer,*" Alastor said, his tone as lively and rich as ever. Vox chuckled, knowing exactly how much Alastor adored that song.

Then, Alastor continued, his voice dropping to a softer, more personal tone. "The next song is dedicated to someone special. If you happened to catch the morning news today, you might have a guess who that might be."* Vox's heart thumped as he listened closely.

*"To my own Vox, the light of my life,*" Alastor's voice continued, *"rekindling our love a month ago felt like we'd never been apart. And now, I'd like to share a song that not only conveys my feelings but brings him to mind every time I hear it."*

Vox's chest tightened with emotion as Alastor announced the track. *"This, ladies and gentlemen, is 'Everybody Loves Somebody' by Dean Martin."*

As the soft, sentimental melody filled the room, Vox closed his eyes, letting the lyrics wash over him, feeling the sincerity and warmth in each note. The dedication, Alastor's words, and the melody echoed through him, stirring memories and deepening the love he felt. Vox sat back, a contented smile spreading across his face, his heart full and calm as he listened to Alastor's song, feeling more connected than ever.
