Alastor and Vox were sound asleep, wrapped in each other's arms, when a small, warm presence wiggled between them. Alastor stirred first, feeling Niffty's tiny frame snuggling in close. He smiled sleepily, reaching over to gently pat her head, but he quickly noticed the glistening trails on her cheeks.

"Niffty?" he murmured softly, concern creeping into his voice as he gently wiped away a tear. "What's wrong, sweetheart? Why are you crying?"

Niffty sniffled, looking up at him with watery eyes. "I... I don't want you and Vox to go on your honeymoon and leave me all alone," she admitted, her voice small and trembling.

Alastor's heart softened, and he pulled her close, rubbing her back. "Oh, honey, we'd never really leave you alone. It's just a short trip, and you'll have everyone else here to keep you company. Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, Rosie... They'll all take such good care of you."

Niffty looked up at him, unconvinced. "But... it's not the same as having you," she whispered.

Alastor shared a quick glance with Vox, who reached over and gently squeezed Niffty's hand. "You know, you'll always be able to call us," he said gently. "And we'll call you every day too, promise."

She sniffled, managing a small smile. "Every day?"

Alastor nodded, brushing a stray curl from her face. "Every single day," he said, giving her an encouraging smile. "And, I'll bring you back something very special, just for you."

Niffty's face lit up a little, though she still clung tightly to Alastor. "Okay," she mumbled, her voice soft and a bit sleepy. "I just... I love you guys. I don't want you to go..."

"We love you too, Niffty," Vox said warmly. "You're our little troublemaker."

With a final, contented sigh, Niffty nestled back between them, comforted by their words and their presence. Alastor and Vox shared a tender look over her, both of them warmed by how much she cared.

And as they drifted back to sleep, Alastor kept his arm wrapped around her, reassuring her with his presence, knowing that no matter where they went, she'd always be family.
