It was a peaceful Monday morning, and Lucy was enjoying every second of it. She stood at the kitchen counter, flipping pancakes and savoring the sounds of her boys playing nearby. Tayden, now a wobbly but determined toddler, was circling the kitchen with a toy car in hand, while six-month-old Ethan lay happily on a soft blanket in the living room, gazing up at his big brother with wide, admiring eyes.

Just as she turned to check on them, Lucy noticed Tayden slow down, eyeing Ethan with a newfound interest. Curious, she pulled out her phone and hit record, feeling a hunch that this would be one of those moments Tim would want to see.

In the frame, Tayden toddled over to Ethan, giving his little brother a look of serious concentration. He knelt beside him, gently patting his belly the way Lucy had shown him. Then, in the sweetest gesture, he leaned forward and gave Ethan a big, sloppy kiss on the forehead. Ethan's whole face lit up, his tiny hands reaching up and landing squarely on Tayden's cheeks, pulling him in for what looked like an attempted hug.

Lucy couldn't help it. She turned the camera on herself for a second, smiling into the lens.
Lucy- Look at them.
She whispered, her eyes bright with affection.
Lucy- How did we end up with such cute kids?
She added with a quiet laugh, a mix of wonder and joy in her voice.

Turning the camera back to the boys, she captured Tayden babbling excitedly to Ethan, who was cooing in response, his little hands still gripping Tayden's cheeks. It was as if they were having their own secret conversation, just the two of them. Tayden finally wriggled free, only to give Ethan another kiss, which made Ethan squeal with delight.

Lucy ended the video there, her heart practically bursting. She sent it off to Tim with a quick message: Mornings with these two melt my heart. Look at what your sons are up to!

Moments later, her phone buzzed. Tim's reply came through: They're perfect. And so are you. I'll watch that on repeat all day. Can't wait to come home.

Lucy slipped her phone back into her pocket, smiling to herself as she looked back at her boys. It was just another Monday morning, but these were the moments she'd carry with her forever, knowing Tim was holding them close, too.
