Items.

In games, where you are allowed to have five items at the same time. Similar to skills, Items also have different stats and levels.

Above 10, Below 20 stat items are D grade.
Above 20 Below 30 stat Items are C grade.
Above 30, Below 40 stat Items are B grade.
Above 40, Below 50 stat items are A grade.
Above 50, Below 60 stat items are S grade.

But These rules didn't apply in the spinoff book. As we know, you can't wear Paintings as part of your armor. But one thing applied in the book was, you can't add up stats of more than five items.

Cause items in the books came with different sizes and shapes, and unique background stories.

'Man, Is it me or Just these backstories of items are S.A.D(pun intended) or just sad.
Like the backstory of that knife and now this sword.'

'But one thing I know is that Dragons didn't exist, not in books nor before. Dragons were added as extra content after the game's original story was finished.'

'Whatever you used to kill the dragon is turned into a Dragon Slayer weapon. Which was then used by players in pvp. I have a pair of short twin swords and magic staff which had a Dragon Slayer tag.'

'Not only does it have Dragon in its name, but The slayer part is Empty.

????? This is a symbol which appears when that slot is empty. So this is not a Slayer sword. But how did that guy end up making such a late game weapon?

"Paul, I will be taking this sword."

Paul confusedly looked at Hens, then stared at James with eyes that told, What is he thinking?

"Are you sure my lord? It's not the best Artifacts we had."

"No, I will be taking this. Also make sure to prepare a leather sheath for this sword."

The sword I selected was a Claymore sword. Even if I end up with a Mage type Class after I ate Golden apple. It will still help me in my early stages.

It was around 5:00 pm in the evening.

As soon as we started to exit from the Vault or Museum, Jacks whispered something in the ears Of Hens.

'What could they be talking about? Now I noticed Owen hasn't returned from his rounds. Are they not here for security purposes only? Now that I think about it, a knight, an archer and a their, aren't they best in secret missions.'

James tried to read the lips, the only thing he understood was, "we will move out at night".

'Did the Duke send them on a secret mission. Should I tell Young lord? No, I don't think so. Let them do their work. I don't have any business with what the Duke does. I am only loyal to the Young lord here.'

Suddenly a memory of James when he was four years old comes when a Golden haired boy extended his hands in the darkness of the surrounding as he came as a bright light.

"He is a duke's man. I guess he followed you guys here."
Someone in the shadows said to the mayor standing in front of that person.

"Well even if I'm the mayor, I can't keep secrets for too long. The kind of work you guys do was supposed to come to light someday."

"~Sigh...... we can't let them know our truth. Mayor use your magic."

Mayor placed his hands on the corpse of Owen, absorbing it completely in his body. Increasing the mass of Mayor before splitting into half creating a living copy of Owen as if he was alive.
