Chapter 44: I'm a bad girl

~Three years before the adoption, when Aaria was still 10 years old.

“Hey Jesi! Hello NAMI.” Aaria greeted her fellow maids when passing through them with a basket full of clothes that are needed to dry. There was an innocent smile on a ten year old, which melted the hearts of everyone in the mansion. Both women patted the heads of Aaria after her greetings and went on their own way.

“Hey sister Anna, I have brought all the clothes here.” A young girl in her early adulthood,with medium long green hair that slightly touches the shoulders was hanging clothes on the stand.
“Thanks Aaria.” She took the basket from Aaria and started to hang them.
“Aaria, have you eaten your breakfast?”
“No, not yet.”
“I told you, you should eat first thing in the morning when waking up.”
“You didn't come to eat with me. You know I can't eat alone.”
“That's very sweet of you…..” after controlling her grin, she smiles with dead eyes,”but I told you that you should eat first.”
“I'm not gonna eat until you come with me. I don't care if you are angry with me.”
“Ahh…. Fine. Let's leave after I finish this.”

~After completing breakfast.

“Hey Aaria, I told you that you should learn to eat with anyone, didn't I? I won't always be with you.”
“Why? Are you going somewhere?” Her eyes filled with tears.
“No.. but you know what will happen if a knight comes and takes you away.”
“Then I will request that knight to take my sister with me.hehehehe”
“Hehehehe”

“C'mon girls move your hands faster.” Madam Cara shouted at both girls who were talking while Washing the dishes.” Yes.. Ma'am”.
“C'mon, Aaria moves your hands.”
“Okay okay.”
“Is Anna here?”Someone came into the kitchen looking for Anna.
“Yes. What is it?”.
“Your father has come to visit you.”
“Oh dad. I am coming. Wait a minute.”
Aaria saw the glow on Anna's face as she excitedly ran out of the kitchen and followed the person. ‘Look at her. She is making me feel jealous here.What sweets will be this time? Maybe pineapple pastry.’

~At night time before bed. A small room with two beds. Anna and Aaria who were munching on pineapple pastry.

“This is delicious, Anna!”
“Hehehe, I know right. Father is good at his work.”
“You love your father very much.”
“Aariiiaaa…!!!”.
“I'm sorry I didn't want to say that.”
Anna sat down with Aaria and gave her a big hug.
“You know Aaria, I love you.”
“Yeah I know.”
“Aaria you know that I'm only working here so we can pay our debt back Right.”
“Hmm.hmmm….”
“You know Aaria, Actually I was in talk with my family for a while, I said to them that I wanted a little sister cause I'm the only child right.”
“What are you…”
“Aaria, why not come live with me?”
“Huh?”.
“Hmm.hmmm… I have already talked with my family and they are ready to adopt you. So Aaria, will you come live with me?”
“Se-seriously,I wi-will live with you.”
“Yeah as actual sisters. I have always wanted a new member in our family for a long time so don't feel too ....”

Before she could finish her sentence, Aaria hugged Anna tightly and started to cry.
“Thank you.”
“You -you want me ….. to cry..”

They both hugged each other and started to cry as they both slept together in the same bed that night but at that night something will happen that will change the faith of both girls.

Around midnight, Anna suddenly opened her eyes because she couldn't feel Aaria beside her. she was shocked as she saw  Aaria floating in mid air, suddenly a bright light started to surround her. She was still unconscious. The bright light started to illuminate the whole room, then the whole servant compartments. The bright light felt like a divinity descended by the gods as it gives Anna a sense of calmness. Anna, who was amazed by this situation, was not scared because In children's book stories those people who receive such blessings are called, “The chosens ones “.

But this night was the last night when these two sisters were able to sleep in the same room.

~Current timeline, Aaria who just woke up. Found herself sleeping on the floor with last night's utensils beside her.

“Ah…. What a night to dream about. I miss you sister. Please…… please save me….. ah…. I'm a bad girl, aren't I. Please stay safe.”
