Chapter 45: Just.....Gone

Aaria, who was sleeping in her room, was suddenly swarmed by a bunch of maids, who picked her up, gave her a nice bath and dressed her up in a nice dress. Aaria, who was just beaten up yesterday by her Brother, was suddenly now dressed in a beautiful dress.
Seeing this change of events, she remained baffled and wasn't able to speak a single thing in this whole process. She found herself in a room filled with angry Kate and Alice arguing with Marquis Brad and Marquess Helena.
“Mother! What are you doing now? How could you let her…”
“Shut up, Kate! I let you do anything in this house but that doesn't give you any right to speak like that with your mother. Leave or otherwise I will make you to.”
Aaria has never seen Marquess shouting like that to her other children before even though they treated her with disrespect. It was an odd scene to witness.Kate and Alice eyes fall upon Aaria who was dressed in decent dress, stormed out of the room, while pushing her which caused her to fall.
“Aa…. Are you okay? Does that hurt? Ahh… look at you. You are so clumsy that you have marks and bruises all over your body. You should take better care of yourself.” Marquess ran towards the Aaria with concern and eeriness on her face.
“It's alright,Mother. I'm so happy that you gave me a new dress. It feels so great in Thank you very much Mother.”
“Aaaa…. Look at you. You are so grateful to me. I really took good care of you didn't I. Those ungrateful kids need to learn something from you right.”.

What is going on with her? The Duchess has never spoken like that to her kids before. I can't even ask her because maybe that will …..
“You know, I have been neglecting your athics and other education, but I can't do that anymore. You will be visiting Duke’s Helstein state for the Annual ball party. You do remember your fiance don't you?” Duke said.
Ahh……. Now I understand what actually happened here.

~6 months before the Annual ball party.

“Dear! We have received an invitation to a party from Duke Helstein. It seems they want Aaria to attend the annual ball party this year.”
“What? That girl doesn't even know proper ethics. We can't send her. Send Alice or Kate there.”
“Helena,... It seems Duchess Violet has asked her Daughter in law personally. We can't send Alice or Kate there like last time.”

The Duke took Aaria to a room at the far end of the mansion. Upon entering the room the room closed itself despite not having a single person around it. The person sitting right in front of both Duke and Aaria was this beautiful ladylike person with long shining golden hairs, each strand is so thin that it gives the illusion of any shining surface. A beautiful face, sharp jawline and deep blue eyes like a sea.

“Greetings to the lord of Marquis Jaden's household. Upon your request they have sent you a little old me, Charlie Brown Hawkins. May I take the beautiful lady beside you as the patient.oh my”.
He closed the distance between them in a blink of an eye and pushed Aaria's sleeve of shirt to only see purple bruises and scars that only showed her suffering.
“My my..My lady. You are quite an active person to have these many old and new injuries by just being reckless. You should take better care of yourself.”
Even though he said those nice words to me, somehow his voice gives me the feelings of eeriness and discomfort. But just with the snap of the fingers all my bruises and injuries were gone just like that. It feels like I have been living a life of lies right. The itchiness and pain is also gone. How can he do that?

“Hmm.hmmm” Aaria just nodded without looking at this person's eyes.
