Chapter 34: Bygone and bygone

It was Sky’s voice. Hearing her I rushed towards the window finding her in a perfect shape with no injuries.Unlike her usual self attire, she wore a black dress that blends with dark streets perfectly.
“My lord! Are you alright?” She asked about my health as she put her hand on my forehead to check my temperature. “Well at least you are not boiling. But it seems you should sleep for now. It would be bad for your health if you stay awake this long at night.” Before I could even answer her, I felt sleepy and fell asleep right at the window.

‘Next time, I woke up. I find myself on a comfortable bed and tucked in a bedsheet. It doesn't look like my bedroom, oh yeah, I'm in Lapras City. It was such a long night last night that I.Wait…….. where are the others?.’

‘I jumped off the bed hastily and ran towards the door when suddenly hearing me causing commotion Sky opened the door.’
“My lord, you should rest for now. You were so tired last night that you slept till evening today.”
“What happened to everyone?” I ignored her concerns for me when she slightly tapped on my thighs with her foot, which causes a lot of pain and shivers throughout my body.
“You should take care of yourself first. I will explain everything to you. Ok.” I follow her instructions and quietly lay down on the bed. She closed the door and then sat next to me on a chair.
“Firstly, Hens survived and is now under treatment.” Thank god he survived. “Well he won't be able to use a bow again, but that's what comes with this job.” Ahh…. I didn't think that far. She continues,
“All the hostages that were captured in the warehouse are free and James is also safe. He has some minor cuts around his body but it isn't serious.”James survived too, Thank god. But one question is bothering me. Well I will ask him later.
“What about the people who attacked last night? Cotton, Mayer and Jötner, who were those people?” When I asked those questions sky replied,
“I will tell you about them when you are ready. Okay. First let's bring you up to full health. I have food prepared for you. You should eat first and rest. I promise I will tell you later, my lord.”
It looks like she won't answer me, let's not push it any further. I'm just glad everyone is safe. “What about Owen and Jake?” She nods  her head side wise indicating they both were dead.
“I shall take my leave now, my lord. Please rest.” Sky left the room leaving Hunter behind in thoughts that he even didn't understand.

~Sky’s Pov.

She enters a cabin in which it seems like Duke Helstein was waiting for her. As soon as she entered, he asked.
“I didn't know you would get involved. I thought I heard you say, You don't even like my blood.” He asks her in a serious tone.
“Don't push it old man.” She replies coldly.
“Can I ask you what went down last night? In detail please.”
“There were dead people among the living. If it was not for my blessings, most people wouldn't even know about it.”
“I see. I heard reports relating to Lapras City underground human trafficking and smuggling but that is the work of Satan. Do you know who those men were?”
She didn't answer.
“Haaaa… Dead people, Necromancer. Didn't know there was one running around the city. Devil mens. My men, Owen and Jake, were not weak. What happened to the one who did this?”
Sky smirks but doesn't reply.
“I see. He deserved it. But may I ask if they were together, would they be able to kill it.”
“ Probably that guy was a new aura breaker.”
“I see. Thank you for your help. ECLIPSE SISTERS”.
“You don't want to know what happened to your son?”
“No.” He firmly answered her.
She left the room without even looking back.

~After a while,
Then she enters a basement where Jötner was captured, heavily injured, missing both of his legs ,arms, eyes and a single ear but was still alive.

“Ple…..Pleas……kil….ki……e”
“You know what, I'm exactly gonna do it cause I'm too angry right now”
She cuts off his head with a single swing.

~Last night.

“Ahh shucks,” Cotton said to Mayor Brady.
“ Yeah it does. We just lost a good city and a capable man.”
“And he was such a hunk in bed. I'm gonna miss him.”
“Well we definitely don't want to cross paths with the Eclipse sisters. And definitely not for your reasons.”
“Ahh you are no fun old man.”
“Who are you calling old man?”
Mayor Brady changed his appearance to that of Owens in a split second.
“Is this fine?”
“I'm jealous of you right now.”
“Ahhh…. Let's leave for now. Man boss is gonna be super angry with us.”
“Hehehehe, you know he gets super excited in bed when angry. I bet you didn't know.”
“and I don't want to know. But I want to know, why you let that kid run away alive”
“Who are you talking about? I let four kids run away.”
“All of them….”
“You sometimes need to let a fruit grow before plunking it. It is a common knowledge you dum dum. Especially the little one who stopped my nails.”
“He blocked it, then you should have killed him before he became a threat.”
“Hehehehehe let it go, bygone and bygone. let it go hehehehehe.”
She is a total nutcase.
