The classroom was filled with a nervous buzz as students whispered among themselves. It was the day everyone had been waiting for: Professor Harris was finally assigning partners for the much-anticipated "Weekend Swap," where students would spend time with their partners' families. The idea was to help everyone better understand each other’s lives and values, though not everyone seemed excited about it—especially Peter and Morgan.

Peter glanced at his sister, who was fidgeting in her seat. He could tell she was just as uneasy as he was. The thought of spending an entire weekend in someone else's home wasn’t exactly thrilling, especially if that "someone else" happened to be a classmate they weren’t close to.

"Alright, class, settle down," Professor Harris said, his voice carrying over the noise. "As you know, this assignment is meant to foster empathy and understanding among you all. I’ve paired each of you with another student based on your differences—yes, I see your faces, but I promise you’ll learn a lot from this."

He began reading off the pairs, and one by one, students groaned, sighed, or occasionally high-fived as they learned who they’d be staying with.

"Peter Stark and Morgan Stark," Professor Harris announced, "you’ll be with Jason Larson and Rachel Larson."

Peter’s head shot up in disbelief. Jason and Rachel? The very people who’d made life difficult for him and Morgan in recent weeks? His mind raced with a mix of frustration and dread.

Morgan’s eyes widened too, but she bit her lip, giving Peter a small shrug as if to say, We’ll get through this somehow.

Jason and Rachel exchanged smug glances, clearly thinking this arrangement would be amusing. But they didn’t realize that they’d be spending their weekend at Stark Tower—with Tony and Steve Stark as their hosts.

Friday evening came quicker than expected, and soon enough, Peter and Morgan were packing bags for their trip to the Larsons’. As they were getting ready to leave, Tony and Steve pulled them aside.

“You two know you don’t have to do this if you’re uncomfortable,” Steve said, his eyes filled with concern.

“We’ll be fine, Pops,” Peter assured him, though he appreciated the offer. “It’s just for a weekend. Besides, maybe this will make things a little… easier with them?”

Tony snorted. “You’re more optimistic than I am, kid. But if anything goes wrong, you call us. And don’t forget we’ve got eyes on you, alright?”

Morgan nodded. “We’ll be careful. And you two have fun with our guests,” she added, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Tony rolled his eyes. “Oh, it’ll be fun, alright. Especially when they realize exactly whose kids they’ve been messing with.”

When Peter and Morgan arrived at the Larsons’ modest home, they felt the stark contrast to their own world. The house was cozy but lacked the warmth they were used to. Jason and Rachel’s parents were cordial but distant, more focused on appearances than making Peter and Morgan feel at home.

Jason and Rachel, for their part, were as dismissive and mocking as ever. Though they kept up a polite façade around their parents, the moment they were alone with Peter and Morgan, their snide comments returned.

"So, do you always need your daddy to fight your battles?" Jason sneered at Peter when his parents were out of earshot.

Peter kept his cool, giving a nonchalant shrug. "Why? Are you jealous that we’ve got people who care about us?"
