The following week, the group fell back into their routine, but things were far from peaceful. Although Jason and Rachel had kept their distance, Peter couldn’t shake the feeling that their troubles were far from over. His Spidey senses had been more active lately, alerting him to the occasional lurking presence that seemed to follow him and his friends.
Peter, Morgan, and the rest of the Dynamic Six were walking to class when Harley spotted Rachel across the quad, whispering to her brother. Jason cast a glance their way before turning his back to them, and it was enough to set everyone on edge.
“Looks like they’re scheming,” Wade muttered, his jaw tight.
“Great,” MJ replied dryly. “As if they’d give up that easily.”
Peter took a steadying breath, his instincts telling him to stay cautious. “We knew they’d try something. Let’s just be ready.”

Scene: Chemistry Lab, Later That Day
Peter was at his lab station, working through an experiment, when he felt a presence behind him. He turned, half-expecting to see Jason, but was surprised when Rachel stood there instead, her arms crossed and a thin smile on her face.
“Parker,” she said, her voice low enough that only he could hear. “Heard you and your friends are feeling pretty bold these days.”
Peter kept his expression neutral. “We just don’t like being pushed around.”
Rachel smirked, her gaze sharp. “Well, you’ve made things… interesting. But don’t think we’ll just let it go. This college is our turf now.”
Peter glanced over at his friends across the room, their eyes flickering between him and Rachel, all of them ready to intervene if needed.
“Look,” Peter said calmly, “we’re just here to study. You keep to yourself, and we’ll do the same. No need to make this harder than it has to be.”
Rachel laughed softly. “Harder? You haven’t seen hard yet, Parker.”
With a final glare, she turned and walked away, leaving a chill in her wake. Peter clenched his fists, feeling a familiar surge of protectiveness for his friends and his sister. He knew this wasn’t the last they’d see of her.

Scene: Dorm Common Room, That Evening
After a long day of tension-filled encounters, the Dynamic Six gathered in the common room. They’d grown used to debriefing like this, catching each other up on every subtle threat and intimidation tactic that Jason and Rachel threw their way.
Harley rubbed his temples, looking frustrated. “This is getting ridiculous. We need to figure out how to get them off our backs for good.”
Morgan nodded, her voice soft but determined. “They’re not just bullies; they’re trying to control everyone around them. And now that we’re standing up to them… it’s like a power struggle.”
MJ crossed her arms, frowning. “We’re not backing down. But we have to be careful. They’re getting desperate, and that can make them more dangerous.”
Peter thought about their options, feeling the weight of his responsibility as both a friend and a brother. He’d always done his best to keep his identity as Spider-Man hidden, especially in a place like college where secrets were hard to keep. But if things escalated further, he might need to rely on those abilities to protect his friends.
As the group discussed their next steps, Peter’s phone buzzed again.
Dad: Everything okay, kid?
Peter stared at the message for a moment, debating whether to open up to his father. He knew Tony would understand—after all, Tony had faced countless enemies in his own time. But Peter didn’t want his dad to worry.
