The atmosphere in the college dorm was electric with laughter and chatter as the Dynamic Six gathered around the common room. Wade was in the middle of a hilarious story, hands animatedly gesturing as he reenacted the antics of his latest comic book obsession. Morgan and Ned giggled, while Harley looked like he was about to burst with laughter.
“...and then I said, ‘That’s not a spider! That’s my roommate!’” Wade exclaimed, doubling over with laughter, causing the rest of them to erupt in a fit of giggles.
Just as Peter was about to add his own punchline, the door swung open, and Natasha and Wanda rushed in, their faces a mix of urgency and concern.
“Peter! We need to talk. Now!” Natasha said, her tone leaving no room for doubt. The laughter died down, replaced by a tense silence.
“What’s going on?” Peter asked, standing up, his heart racing. The tone of Natasha’s voice sent a chill down his spine.
“Your dads—Tony and Steve—they need you. It’s urgent,” Wanda added, her expression serious.
Peter’s stomach dropped. “What happened?”
“They’re on a mission, and it’s more dangerous than expected. They need your help,” Natasha explained, her eyes locking onto Peter’s. “They don’t have time to explain everything right now, but it’s bad. We need to go.”
Morgan’s eyes widened in fear. “Wait! What do you mean dangerous? Is Dad okay? Is pops okay?” she asked, her voice trembling slightly.
“Peter, you have to go,” Natasha urged, placing a hand on his shoulder. “You can’t waste time. They need you there.”
Peter felt a surge of panic and adrenaline. He glanced back at his friends, their faces mirroring his concern. “I—I have to go. They need me.”
“Peter, wait!” MJ interjected, stepping forward. “You can’t just leave like this! What if something happens?”
“I have to help them, MJ! I can’t just sit here and do nothing while they’re out there facing danger,” he replied, his voice steady but strained.
“I know, but I’m worried,” she said, her voice softening. “We’re all worried. Just… promise me you’ll be careful.”
He nodded, a lump forming in his throat. “I promise. I’ll come back as soon as I can.”
Without another word, Peter grabbed his backpack and rushed toward the door, followed closely by Natasha and Wanda.
“Hey, we’ll be here waiting for you!” Harley called after him, trying to keep the mood light despite the tension.
“Yeah, and I’ll have a whole pile of waffles ready for you when you return!” Ned added, forcing a smile.
Morgan watched, her heart heavy as she waved goodbye. “Be safe, Peter!”
As they rushed down the hall and out of the building, Peter’s mind raced with thoughts of his parents. What could be so urgent? He hoped they were okay.

Avengers Tower
In a matter of moments, they arrived at Avengers Tower. The atmosphere was tense, and the usually lively base was filled with hushed voices and hurried footsteps. Peter could see Tony and Steve in the central briefing room, their expressions serious as they went over plans with the rest of the Avengers.
“Peter!” Tony called out as soon as he saw him. “I’m glad you’re here. We need all hands on deck for this one.”
“What’s going on?” Peter asked, trying to catch his breath.
